Nice upscale stay in Aix

Spent three nights in this hotel and had a very nice stay. The location is good and easy to get to and get in and out of, which was beneficial with a car. I didn't reserve parking at the hotel but there is a public lot just across the street. The staff were nice and accommodating and the room was good sized and clean and the bathroom in particular was spacious. It had a nice bar area which was good for a late night drink.

We have been in France 12 days. This is the worst hotel of our tour. Our room is dirty. The A/C vent is filthy with dust and grime. The metal push plate in the toilet room looks as if it has never been cleaned. The shower head pulsed out three weak streams of water. There were numerous choices at breakfast. But I was not satisfied with anything except the croissants. They had small espresso machines with pods which were very unfamiliar to us and inconvenient. No one offered to bring us a pot of coffee but another member of our group did get a pot. There was clearly a sign saying the Pass Sanitaire (French Covid Pass) was required for breakfast but no one asked to see them. We were sitting where we could see everyone who came in and no one had to show their health pass.

Good experience, excellent customer service

It is a nice hotel in a very mediocre town. The hotel wins at service, everyone is professional and helpful. We are staying in a suite, it’s decor is peculiar but it is spacious and comfortable enough. Housekeeping is inconsistent, not all towels were replenished, no extra bath products provided even though we were running out. But it is all fine. The location is super, easy to drive to from the highway. If you book a parking spot you are guaranteed awesome valet service and zero issues. The breakfast is awful but it is optional so just go to town. It is actually so bad that I believe there are better at Ibis. There was actually nothing that was high quality, including baked goods which is an achievement in France. Simply avoid breakfast and go for everything else.

I had such wonderful 3 days staying at the hotel. I especially liked people there, they were super professional making sure I am having the best time and calling me by my name. Restaurant and pool are just amazing as well. I would love to go back to Aix for this hotel.
