I've enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Artea very much. The old walls, and the fireplace in the room fit in with the picturesque atmosphere of the old town of Aix-en-Provence. The considerate service helped to make my stay very comfortable.

The hotel is quite simple so don’t expect any luxury, however, the price is correct, the staff is very welcoming and trying to arrange things, the location is perfect just outside of the old town (no noise but really close to all the attractions!). We really enjoyed our stay.

A clean and tidy hotel that is situated right in the middle of aix en provence.. The rings are ask mostly large, ask different, but clean and with city views of aix. For a short stay, this will provide a great base for your stay to evoke the town and find the rose!

Extremely dirty and not what pictures represent!

This hotel doesn't deserve 1 star. It does not represent what you see on the pictures. We checked in around 11pm to a dirty, unkempt room. There were dirty towels in the sink and the bathtub had a big spider with a fair amount of pubic hair in it. The bed was barely made and the sheets felt like 60 year old cotton. The night receptionist - who actually was very kind - tried to handle the situation by offering us clean towels. However in this time of Covid - where hygiene is mandatory - we had no other choice then leave the hotel to find another place to stay. All that trouble yet this hotel maintains that their extremely poor conditions are not worthy of a refund. So keep that in mind when you are planning to book here - chances are the room will be an absolute dumpster fire and when you try to leave because you realize you've been cheated by money hungry scumbags, they won't refund you anything.

Excellent location walking distance to everything that is the best part.This hotel was clean but extremely dated ,aircom was not working and neither was the fridge in the bedroom.Our friends had to change rooms as there seemed to be electrical problems their second room also had no aircon and no fridge working.The hotel had just reopened after lockdown so they had over 3 months to sort things out.The staff were very pleasant and obviously these problems were not up to them to fix.
