A beautiful old hotel from another era
We spent two night here and enjoyed the old world qualiy of the building, which has been renovated in the communal areas. However, the rooms are very poorly insulated for sound and do not have airconditioning (it was 32-33 degrees during our stay). i recommend taking earplugs along because I could hear my neighbor’s TV as if they were in the same room... Breakfast was excellent and we could take it out on a tray to the garden area. It was a 5 minute walk down to the town’s center which was nice, and free parking was available. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return inspite of the few inconveniences mentioned.
Superb Service
Kind and friendly staff. As their dining room was closed on the night we stayed, staff were most helpful in suggesting an alternative venue. Room was large and recently refurbished and was located at the back of the hotel so was very quiet. Couldn't fault the service or the accommodation. Location was great, a few minutes walk from the centre of Aix Les Bains and had ample parking (fees apply).
Not recommended
The building is pretty on the outside, although On the inside it’s an Old property never repaired, bedrooms have dust, we could hear neighbors tv and the ceiling is cracked. the quality is not correct with the price!
Charming and welcoming
Offering easy access to the town centre and parking too, Hôtel des Eaux has a charming old-fashioned ambiance with stylishly-refurbished bedrooms. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the shady garden in the heat of a summer's evening.Great breakfasts too!
Charming hotel with very good service
An old charming hotell with central placement near the curch in Aix des Bain - Nice garden, nice hotel rooms and very nice view from the rooms. The service was excellent and Madame Linn was fantastic! Thank you for a great stay in your hotel - We will gladly recommend this hotel to others :)
