More about the hotel
average hotel
The hotel rooms are big and comfy but outmoded. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean with the ability to enjoy a bath. The staff is helpful. the breakfast is the reason for the average rating since it's not delicious and with so little variety.
So noisy, constant hammering, room too hot
Good points first, staff friendly and helpful, Room was very clean and hotel centrally located. I arrived at lunchtime feeling very tired after a long journey but could not sleep due to continuous banging (sounded like hammering) that went on all day and late into the evening, it then started again around 8am. It drove me totally crazy. The air conditioner only worked intermittently and was turned off for several hours at a time making the room hot. Deco is very dated but functional.
Great hotel in Albacete
We stayed at San Antonio as we had a family celebration in Albacete. We got a huge room, it almost looked like an apartment, with a really nice big bed, spacious clean bathroom and lots of space. Staff was great and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Location is fantastic, in the heart of the city.
50th Wedding Anniversary
Stayed her with a group of ex pats for a 50th wedding anniversary. Pleasant and tidy hotel with good sized bedroom and clean bathroom. Very difficult parking which was 15 Euros a day. We had a small hire car which took a lot of manoeuvring to get in. I was then worried that another hotel guest would knock it trying to park up? The car park entrance is hidden by the front door in a one way street so if you overshoot you will need to go around the block. Hotel seemed to be full of the locals drinking coffee and eating tapas with a few strange looks at us foreigners. The receptionist was very pleasant but I could not say the same about the lady running the bar which was service with a scowl and did not want to serve drinks much after 9.00pm. If you like tapas there was a good selection always on offer. The town of Albacete itself did not have much to offer with regards to sightseeing.
Don't go to this hotel
The wifi was terrible, the parking was very tight, the spa bath just splashed water everywhere and I had an entertaining night listening to the couple next door, I heard everything!!!! No one at reception speaks English, so all in all avoid this terrible hotel
