The hotel is very outdated. The shower is so bad, it's very little water coming out, you take hours to wash your hair. The bed is terrible, you can feel every spring on the mattress. Not recommended. The location is great, you can search for another one nearby.

Took some time to write a second review regarding this hotel for two main reasons: 1) I unfortunately stay at the mentioned hotel a lot, for business reasons. 2) as time goes by, infrastructure and services are getting worst.
In my last visit, I've found dirty walls and doors in the room. The bed is worn at a point that sleeping on it is uncomfortable.
TV is a joke. Too small, crappy image and only few channels. Wifi is slow but stable.
Staff is friendly. Unfortunately they seem to spend too much time using their private cellphones and forgetting about the clients.
Food at the restaurant, specially breakfast, is terrible. Compered to other hotels in the area is by far the worst. I strongly suspect that some items found in the dinner buffet has originally been served at lunch time and has been "recycled".
For some reason that I still cannot understand, the hotel throw parties with loud music at the pool area that is too close to the rooms. Even watching TV becomes difficult. Isn't a hotel a place to rest?
If you can't avoid it... be prepared.
It is just a hotel ...

It seems to be a old refitted hotel, however it still looks simple and built with poor quality material.
Internet access for free, but it is not too fast.
The staffs are not so nice and friendly, they are not rude as well, they are neutral and it is what you will find most around Angra dos Reis/RJ
A lot Chinese and Indiane people which have different behavior and sometimes it bother other guests. They use to sit along the aisle floor, speak and play (cellphone).
The rooms are big enough, the bathroom is Ok, but there is acustic problems as the balcony door and windows are made of thin metal. The outside noise is heard from inside.
In other hand, this hotel provide to the guests some amenities that, in my opinion, equalize the pros & cons.
Breakfast, lunch & dinner with non alcoolic drinks, laundry, bottles of water in the frigde included in the rates,

Relatively cheap hotel when compared to others in the same area. The room is quite comfortable, but the insulation is just terrible. When you arrive at night the room is hot as an oven.
On the positive side, the breakfast is quite good and the pool is nice. It might be a good option if you just want a place to sleep after a long day exploring the beaches around.

Which isn't much here. Clogged toilet, crappy WiFi and generally worn. At least the staff is friendly and try to help. But the Hotel is old and I guess the owners aren't investing much in it. The buffet wasn't the best, but OK. I guess it's just normal Brazilian food.
