Estuve una semana en Anjuna para realizar mi practica de Ashtanga Yoga . El hotel estaba próximo al sitio de la clases, me resultaba súper genial a nivel de distancia . Las personas que nos atendieron fueron súper amables . Incluso nos ayudaron a poder comprar el billete de tren para ir a Hampi( como extranjeros resultaba difícil conocer las dinámicas de compra) . El cuarto estuvo muy acogedor, limpio y luminoso; en ese periodo de tiempo estaban construyendo al lado del sitio y si resultò un poquito molestoso. En todo caso me encantó el lugar !!!

Worst Place to stay

I never give a review untill it's the worst place. Staff not at all friendly. When asked for tea they say it's finished. When asked for food, no salt, no sugar and no preference asked. The care taker makes faces and back answers whenever we need anything. Do not take Scotty on rent from them, your trip will be spoilt. AC doesn't work. No towels in the room. No soaps. We stayed for 3 days, no cleaning service. Stray dogs and cats roam around in balcony. Only one thing was good hot water in shower.

This is a great budget place to stay around Anjuna, also very accessible from all the popular eateries and the Anjuna beach, everything is a 5-10 minute drive away. The rooms are great and the overall hotel campus is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend this for budget travelers.

6 days in Banyan Soul in Anjuna was a last leg of my Indian trip, and boy, did I pick well. Adorable, cozy, small boutique hotel was a perfect retreat after two weeks of sightseeing in Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Located behind a German bakery (one if the most known restaurants in Anjuna), hotel is in a very quiet area, but steps away from a good meal. Hotel amenities are pretty basic, but rooms are clean, nicely decorated with nice veranda in front of every room. Hotel grounds and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. You can keep you cold drinks in a refrigerator at the reception, which is tended 27/7. Internet is solid. Walking is possible, but I opted to rent a scooter(250 rupees a day) which gave me much more freedom to go around and explore. Guys who work there were beautiful, and the owner, Summit is a lovely guy who really makes you feel right at home. Due to Corona virus situation and lot of uncertainty how to leave the country, Summit offered, in case that we are stranded, indefinite stay for virtually no money. I thing that was very, very nice from him. All in all, I had a great stay in The Banyan Soul. Keep up the good work Summit. Sasha.

If you are looking for a room in a quiet location in the Anjuna forest just 10 minutes walk from the beach then look no further. The Banyan Soul ticks all the boxes. All rooms identical with large comfortable beds, AC, attached bathroom with constant hot water and a small private terrace. The free WiFi is very good. And the staff are always around to help and advise. Sumit, the owner, is a lovely guy who makes all his guests feel very welcome and will help you with any issues you have during your stay. A real bonus is that the BS is located just behind the German Bakery which is one of the best and most chilled restaurants in all of Goa. Choose The Soul... You won't regret it!
