If you are looking for a wonderfully comfortable suite with a living room, small kitchen area, desk area, the BEST walk in shower, (better than the Ritz), comfortable bed with great bedding, free parking and breakfast, a receptionist named Mary Elizabeth that is the sweetest thing; then this is the place for you.

Booked on their online site to book hotel . Clicked senior discount fr 78. For 2 nights. It totaled with taxes 92. A night totaled 184. Clicked in credit card and it’s total said 192. After I clicked. So I figured I cud get it straightened out when I got there. They tell me one night is 80. And one night is 88. ( Monday n Tuesday nights) Before taxes because each day has a variable rate/Eve tho I booked them at same moment and it says 78. A piece fr 2 nights. It is the ‘idea’ and principe of the thing. They can do n say what they want with no recourse. Then proceeds to tell me that they also hold out 40. In Case you damage something. I never saw that . She proceeds to tell me it is on the sign where you slide your card/ well, I did it online so there was no sign. Get to room. - year in sofa -the thermostat is in wall by dr. The unit is by window. It is freezing on bed near ac And very hot near door. As the unit can’t be adjusted/ only move the thermostat so it is ether freezing or hot on opposite Ends of room. Go down for breakfast, toaster doest work. Plug didn’t go all the way into socket. Takes a long time to toast and never pops up- buring one. Never popped up. When you tell the person anything all they say is sorry . Had to wait food- Only elevator- near pool-twice was full of water- the compete floor not an inch of dry area. We spent more than we usually spend on too. Expected Thought Marriott was good name. Very very disappointed.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): The rooms are not bad, a little dated, and they are all suites (couch, two queen beds, a business/kitchen area, and a large stylish shower) that contain digital thermostats next to the entry. However, oddly enough, the 50ish inch flatscreen TV is mounted in between the couch and sleeping area. Honestly, it is probably to accommodate the scenario of people occupying both areas. We did not test out the pool, but it seemed to be operating fine. However, the entire first floor smells of strong chlorine. Now to talk about the heart of the review, the location. Other reviewers of this hotel told horror stories of vandalized vehicles and the hotel denying responsibility. I have to say, that scared me. Fortunately, that did not happen to us. However, after seeing where the hotel lies, I discovered that my hesitation was just. Tucked away behind other hotels in a seemingly sketchy area of the city, this hotel resides in a dimly illuminated area. This is good and bad; good, because it is tucked away and possibly out of sight, bad because it is not well lit mixed with the fact that it is tucked away makes it a prime target for theft. The hotel was everything a hotel needs to be. Therefore, if you need a place to stay for the night while passing through, go for it. However, if you have kids and are looking to enjoy a few days in the city, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to you.

I have to mention that "Shy", the am rep, has represented company with kindness, respect, but also a confident professional outreach as a hospitality perfectionist. Thank you so much Springhill sweets, for your amazing employee (employees) I was on stressful business trip during a winter storm, but was able to stablish comfortably clean and sanitize-friendly place to stay.I was greeted by a wonderful human being and easy to use online system to book, confirm and appreciate, i will be back.
Degradation at its worst

Receptionist struggled with reservation (took 32 minutes to check in). Brought chips and drinks in for 6 boys (which at the time of reservation, I verified I could have food in the rooms abs was told about the pool policy). Denied at the door abs was told we would have to allow housekeeping to determine if we could stay. 6 housekeepers publicly voted us out of our reservation because they didn’t want to clean the rooms after (this was after understanding I would be charged a $250 room clean up fee is if it was trashed). The GM was called and had given us an option to stay and not bring the food. After deliberating with the young boys, we decided to take that option, but the front desk clerk told me she was washing her hands of the situation and immediately canceled the reservation. I wasn’t upset about the rules and limitations (even though I cleared everything prior to confirming the reservation). I was upset at how it was communicated and the staff feeling the need to vote (as if they really could) on whether we could stay! They should really shut the place down. I was disappointed upon arrival. It looks like a dump with new paint.
