Other than the convenient location to D.C. and the low price, I cannot recommend this place. Once we arrived, we were thinking we had made a mistake in booking this place due to its run down appearance. Inside our room, we immediately turned on lights, plugged in our phone chargers and turned on the tv. The lights and tv started flickering so we turned off tv. Flickering stopped. We turned tv back on and flickering! We unplugged our phones and no flickering. We call the management and they sent a maintenance guy. His suggestion was to not charge our phones and watch tv at the same time! We called back to say this was unacceptable and we wanted to cancel our booking. Management, without saying a word, refunded me $50 (money they held for extra charges) and told me that since I "checked in" I can't get a refund. It had been 10 minutes!! They offered another room and we moved to a different building, which appeared nicer. It was nicer but it did seem that some rooms are permanent residences for down on their luck families. On the third night we arrived back late and were locked out of our room! At the office the Manager on duty, without saying a word took our keys from us and gave us new ones. Zero apology! Zero explanation! Icing on the cake was as we were leaving at 4:30 am lugging our suitcases down the stairs (yes, no elevators) another guest- a large, possibly drunk woman in her nighty came out of her room looking to kill someone. She wanted to know what we were doing so I told her we were leaving and apologized if we were noisy. She said we were fine and not to worry, she was going to "look out for us" until we got to our car! So, needless to say, this was the worst hotel experience this world traveler has ever had. Book at your own risk!
Worst experience EVER!!

If I can rate them as a 0 I would. The manager, Dwight, is a horrible human being who lacks empathy and customer service. Also this place looked extra shady with some guy in a beat up car with tinted windows driving in and out of the hotel. Probably making drops to customers. I left and booked my hotel somewhere else. I will NEVER EVER go back here. This is the worst hotel I have ever been at and I’ve been traveling for 30 years

I was locked out of my room for almost 2 1/2 hours. The keys are sanitized, so probably corrupted the stripes. I went back and forth 4 times between reception and room to no avail. She even tried to enter with the master key, which got stuck. I ultimately moved rooms after she finally open the door since half of the outlets in the first room did not work anyways. Also, the Keurig coffee maker put all of the grounds in my coffee. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to delay my flight by a day. So I returned and reasonably requested either a discount for another night, or a partial refund for the one night I was inconveniently locked out. Neither were considered. Management is despicable. Room is a good size for price and close to airport.
The absolute worst!

Called and complained several times about the drug addicts in the next room with a shared door, the constant scratching on door then apologizing for banging and scratching on door through the door, the constant cars that would come in and out of their room, the screaming the yelling and lust goes on. Call 1 to front desk said they were going to take care of it, it continued! Call 2 to front desk said they were going to call them n tell them to keep it down, still happening! Call 3 to front desk said i will investigate it and handle it, well guess what still going on! They literally did nothing when they shouldve called the police or told them they needed to leave, but i guess drug deals in parking lot, drug sex parties, and beating girls is what they allow here! So if thats your thing then this is the place for you! Unfortunately its not my thing and i have gotten no sleep for my 17hr drive i have ahead of me! So thanks for nothing Hotel Pentagon you're the worst!
