Ferradura Private

Lovely peaceful setting. Place to relax and rest. Rooms and communial areas got the most beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. I can recommend this hotel.

What’s already five-star in this hotel? The service provided is exquisitely attentive and warm. The overall great decor, the amazing deck and, of course, the view to die for, are all top-notch. The small restaurant chef is really good and deliver some delicious gourmet food. The room for improvement. The breakfast is not awesome: poor selection of dishes for a US$ 250 a night; it starts only at 8am !!!!; they need to train the person doing omeletes (horrible); and a few flies buzzing around. In the overall decent room, the free wireless internet is not reliable, and the mattress is awful, hard, not the standard spring one you would have at any good hotel in the us. The shower and mini jacuzzi are awesome, though. I got a bit frustrated to be assigned a room in the first floor. The view still is nice, but not equivalent what they promise in the “brochure”. The swimming pool is rather small for the size of the hotel and it is too shallow for tall adults. But it is clean. The sauna and outside jacuzzi are small but fine.

You should certainly consider Hotel Ferradura Private if you are planning a trip to Buzios. While visiting we saw almost all of the beaches in Buzios and agree that Praia Ferradura is the prettiest. It has beautiful views, sunsets and beaches all which you can see from the deck of the hotel. The service at the hotel is phenomenal! We were so well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Paulo, Bruna and those working at reception know all about the island and will go out of their way to make sure your trip is one to remember. The service staff and Yosi are so kind, always in a good mood and will make sure that while at the hotel you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Normally when I travel, I like to go to new places but Hotel Ferradura Private was such a great experience that I will consider going back next year!

The lication is wonderful with a tiny access directly into the ocean bay that the hotel faces. Beautiful views. The breakfast is good, but could be better. The personal is outstanding. Akways welcoming and helpful. The food served in the restaurant has much to be improved. The hotel is clean.

Be sure to book a room at this hotel. Although not the first time I stayed at this hotel I was shocked at the inconveniences I found in room 204. When I entered and tried to use the phone I noticed that the wire was broken. The tv remote did not work. The tub did not fill and then it began to leak the water through the room. I booked this hotel on expedia.com. I guess, Is this room never booked by anyone before me? I complained at the reception that was next to the room. In other reservations I made directly with the hotel reservation center I had no problems. Is it a privilege for using expedia.com ?
