I'm beginning to lose count as to how many times we have stayed at the Holiday Inn in Aruba, but what I will never forget is how incredible our stays are, time after time after time. Our visit last week was just as good, if not better, than the times before. There isn't much more I can say about this resort, but I always like to give a shout out to the amazing staff who help make our stay first class all the way. The first being, Su Lenne, the rooms coordinator. Su Lenne provides 1st class customer service, she is attentive, accommodating whenever she can be, and above all else, she is one of the friendliest people we have come to have the pleasure of knowing! She makes it point to seek us out during our visit to be sure all of our needs have been met, and always provides us some new insider tips for places to visit, eat, or shop, different from what we have done during our previous stays. We love you, Su Lenne! Also, a shout out to Marie at the front desk for providing a smooth and stressfree check in. Not sure how we always get so lucky to have Marie greet us upon check in, but I'm always so happy to see her familiar face! Can't forget to also give praise to Cheryl at the towel hut, and Miguel as well - both go above and beyond to keep everyone happy! We generally always request to stay in the Ocean (middle) Tower, and choose a king oceanfront room always. Our room was cleaned and towels replenished each day. Only issue this time around was the elevators that experienced some technical difficulties, and actually one night on our way back to our room, the elevator dropped an entire floor while we were on it. We quickly exited the elevator and reported the issue, and the next morning, I was pleased to see both elevators undergoing vigorous inspections before putting back into use. You may read many reviews on Facebook or other social media platforms that may not sing the praises of Holiday Inn. I consider myself a hotel snob when traveling to most places, but you just cannot go wrong with the Holiday Inn and the value for your dollar here. Are the rooms 5-Star Waldorf Astoria quality? No...but they are clean, comfortable, and all you need for a fun beach vacation! Thank you again, Holiday Inn! See you again real soon!!

Best Hotel in Aruba

We love the staff at the Holiday Inn they go above and beyond their job every day especially Eddy, Cecille, Andres, Tibisay, Rosa Angelica, Hugo, Louise, Pedro, Edwardo, Stephanie, Lucila, Michael and Lucas at the Restaurants and Bars. They all do a great job to make sure all the guests feel welcome. John in the Lobby and Mary at the Front Desk and Marianna and Angeline in Reservations. Leabitt does a great job with the reservations for the Palapas and has a wonderful personality. They all make you feel welcome. Puro is run well by Erwin, Briigette and John. It would be nice if they had a second person helping to move the line quickly. They do the best they can doing it all on their own. The hotel and rooms are very clean. I think they should reopen the Lobby Bar … it was a great place to stop for a drink on arrival, stop by before heading to dinner, stop by after dinner and meet other guests. Also they should keep the Oceanside Bar open in the evening not only on Sundays when they serve dinner. Guests like to be outside when they go to Aruba. Palicoco is cold and empty most of the time. The property and beach is well-kept and beautiful. The restaurants have a wide variety of delicious meals. The staff is very welcoming and remember you by name even though they see so many guests very year. That’s why we go back 4 times a year!

The best!

just returned from a 10 day stay at the HI. We have been here over 15 times and never disappointed! This was a lost minute getaway; we didn't book via HI because cost was an issue so knew we would not receive full IHG platinum benefits. However, at check in, our status was acknowledged and we received our usual 15% off food & beverage (surprise was a resort credit from Jetblue). We found the 1st come/1st serve palapala's and were able to have front row chairs each day so sun wasn't an issue. cannot beat the location and the beach! we enjoyed the Christmas decorations being installed during our visit. Til next time.....

Marianne's Villarreal was a great and helpful person working for Holiday Inn. Our room was very clean and the breakfast buffet was extremely diverse, something for all tastes. The pool maintainer people and groundskeeper do an amazing job.

Very nice 3 star property on a 5 star beach

Our fourth visit to a favourite island. My husband and I stayed here for a week as part of a 3 week visit. We also stayed at the Hilton and at an AirBnB so it will be difficult to not compare the properties and experiences. Overall we had an excellent stay in their oceanfront room, one of the most genuinely ocean front balconies we have ever had. Pros: It's Palm Beach in Aruba - great stretch of beach with great weather Centrally located with an easy walk from one end of Palm Beach to the other, with lots of restaurant options. Spectacular view from oceanfront rooms Great service from staff Able to easily use the outside staircase, which was nice to work off the drinks. Oceanfront rooms in Ocean Tower are basic but roomy Everything was always very clean. In particular, the bathrooms by the beach and pool were always meticulously clean which is actually somewhat unusual for a beach washroom. Despite the central location, it was a quiet hotel (maybe not so quiet in Sea Tower at night when Moomba's has a live band) with a very relaxed feel (not as quiet as Marriott, which is deadly quiet, but much quieter than Hilton). The swim area is very calm even with a lot of boat traffic (especially vs Hilton). Cons: Except for a group palapa, palapas are charged at all times. Both Marriott and Hilton allow free palapa use and reservation for guests. Prices at Oceanside bar are completely ridiculous - $16 for a tiny paper cup of a cocktail of mediocre quality - every other bar on Palm Beach had better prices. Some of the loungers were dirty - the one exception to the cleanliness of the hotel. Around 5pm one day I could not manage to get served at Oceanside bar no matter how hard I tried. I eventually gave up. There were other customers but they didn't seem so busy that I should go 20 minutes without an acknowledgement at either a table or the bar. Very small bathroom and no vent in the rooms This may be a pro for some, but some guests were playing their own music fairly loudly at the pool and beach. This won't affect future travellers, but they were doing construction on the bottom floor rooms, resulting in jackhammering right below our balcony. We could hear it clearly in our room and could not be on the balcony at all. After 2 days we went to the front desk and asked how long this would continue. They didn't seem aware there was construction going on. They did agree to move us to the Sea Tower. The rooms are nice but smaller than Ocean Tower. Overall it was a great stay and we would happily go back again. I'm happy to say that Covid protocols re masks etc. were followed by staff and guests and I felt very comfortable there (the same cannot be said of Hilton, unfortunately).
