Hotel Management is Dishonest

Do NOT book this hotel through a travel agency. Your reservation will not be honored. I booked using Chase Ultimate Rewards almost a month in advance. Apparently Chase uses Expedia. At 7 pm on my check-in day, the hotel called and refused to honor the Expedia reservation. They cancelled and rebooked me at their undiscounted $250/nt. rate. My family waited for an hour while I called Chase and they called the hotel front desk to try to sort everything out. It didn't work. Rooms are run down, no elevator for 2nd floor guests. Read the other reviews. Choice Hotels needs to downgrade this property to an Econo Lodge or Rodeway Inn.

Super GHETTO!! This place was disgusting and our room smelled like smoke! Someone put a plastic bag on the smoke detector. When we walked in it smelled like the receptionist at Friday night check in was smoking weed inside. We asked new sheets for the bed right away and spray to refresh the room in the morning and were offered to switch rooms but the hallways smelled like smoke too so it was pointless! The pool area was not up to standards either! It just looks dirty and the sides had screws sticking out and unfinished pvc pipe exposed
A first- let down

First of all we requested a king suite and when we got there the room was moldy, a massive cigarette smoke smell and wr had to change rooms...the smell was overwhelming and we found the smoke detector was covered with a plastic wrap (probably so that someone can smoke when they're not allowed) We moved To a different room after request and although the smell was better it still wasn't the best. Place is outdated and the morning we arrived for breakfast is the straw that broke the camels back. A Walmart Juice , Granola bar and banana. Pathetic even in Corona times. Where Is the food? Maybe a wrapped sandwich. I understand the Coronavirus thing, but this is absolutely not on par. This whole breakfast is probably worth $1. Comfort inn is loosing it's standards. Cleanliness is questionable at this Place and we were usually fans. Diamond members.
Additional charges to credit card.

The hotel is dated but for us it was o.k. to meet up with friends for the weekend....so I thought! A month later, when I received my credit card statement, there was an $80.00 additional charge. I pulled up the invoice online which included an additional charge: 1/12/20 Damages/Missing items Bed cover destroyed. I'm finding this out a month later, they never called or bothered to investigate and just assumed a blanket, between two others, was damaged by us. The bedding and towels are far from new at this property!! I immediately called the hotel and asked the woman at the front desk about this charge and she immediately said yes the white blanket between the sheet and bed cover was burned!!?!? I said there was no possible way we did this and asked if it was Sunday, January 12th room 213....she insisted it was us. My husband and I do not smoke, we definitely would have smelled something burning. She said it was a very recent burn and it had to be us!! Stay at the Holiday Inn next door which is a much nicer hotel and you don't have to worry about taking the bed apart to take pictures of the bedding to prove you didn't burn the blankets! Also much nicer bedding and fresh white towels. The Holiday Inn was booked when I made the reservation at the Comfort Inn Green Bay or I would have never had to deal with something like this! I have stayed at several Choice properties but will rethink before booking another and will definitely never stay here again! Nothing like this has ever happened to me and is so upsetting! I travel a lot and there are so many better options than the Choice properties. From looking at other reviews...stay elsewhere.

If you are looking for a somewhat simple hotel that is clean, comfortable beds, and employees that like their job this is the place. Check in was fast and friendly I was welcomed by a very clean Room with a very comfortable bed quiet as well, in the morning the breakfast selection was adequate , all for a great price
