Adagio Asnieres cancelled my reservation despite I received booking confirmation. I was informed when I arrived at hotel

Reviewed 1 july, 2019

I have booked two nights at Adagio Asnieres sur seine (June 24 and 25) through Amex Global Business Travel. I have received a confirmation for my booking. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told by the hotel that my reservation has been cancelled. The hotel was full. The front desk was not able to find a hotel alternative for me for the duration of my stay. I had to walk with my suitcase under 35 Celsius to try to sort this out with Amex GBT (who were extremely surprised by the cancellation) over the phone. Adagio is to avoid if you don't want to risk sleeping in the street...

Residential location, unhelpful, unfriendly staff

Reviewed 9 june, 2019

It is a residential location, so parking on street was very limited and have to pay, room is very dark, lighting is poor, large windows open inwards and has no catches to keep in place, staff particularly unhelpful and unfriendly considering it was nearly €200 per night.

Not bad for 2 nights

Reviewed 30 may, 2019

I stayed for two nights in a single room. Fortunately, the bed was quite comfortable and spacious for one person, and all kitchen utensils were provided including a fridge and a microwave. The only issue I encountered was the unpleasant smell of the room. I think it was coming from the carpet.

Grim!

Well it felt more like a prison than a hotel. Awful lighting, horrid corridors! Not a real shower cubicle, causing water to spray all over the bathroom floor. Far from the centre so if you want to see Paris city this is not the place. My husband works in the area hence why we stayed here. So many nice hotels in the area, but this is not one of them.

Staying Apart in Paris

Was on business tour.... booked on line seeing the picture but was not as it looked in picture. Located in a residential locality. Every thing is accessible nearby . There was even an Indian restaurant Tajmahal that takes in orders and delivers at the hotel provided you order early... you could even walk up . So close it is. Do try the cheesy rotis... the hotel perse is budget. Room had a kitchenette and a bathtub . Pretty clean provides decent breakfast and the washroom also has an electric cloth drier ... not seen in many hotels real handy... good for a couple on budget . But located about Half an hour drive from Eiffel Tower Please note. Housekeeping is only on request at additional charge I got it done once in my stay of six days On the whole s good experience
