First of all everyone working there I encountered was very helpful and friendly. My problem with the hotel was the cleanliness. When we first walked into our suite it looked nice but definitely needed a refresh in furnishings and interiors. Much of the furniture was badly scratched up and there were stains on much of the fabrics. There were 2 televisions but only one remote. The headboard on the bed was very dirty and had greasy marks that need to be cleaned. The toilet had a seat on it that if you sat on would slide off of the toilet. I looked to see what the problem was and I realized it was the wrong size with the wrong size lug nuts. I’m not but about 125 lb. I would think a larger person would probably break it or break a bone from falling on the floor. The most disappointing thing was that when we returned to our room after leaving that morning our rooms had not been cleaned. We had been to a college football game that didn’t end till after midnight so we were very tired. My husband headed down to get coffee for use in the morning. There were just 2 of us so we had plenty of linens. The elevators were dirty. The elevator buttons were filthy and one button was missing all together. With covid I would have thought they would have been taking special cleaning precautions but just the opposite. I know the Buckhead area has been going through some rough times but there is no reason for the hotel being so nasty. Especially a Marriott. Hopefully things will improve.

The staff was very pleasant and amiable. But--on the heels of the pandemic--the overall experience was lackluster. Most problematically, there was no in-room safe to lock up one's valuables. They kindly offered to lock up your valuables behind the front desk, but those spaces were too tiny to hold a small laptop. People do have laptops that are more valuable than jewels! So, basically, I had to carry around my laptop during the entire trip. The restaurants being closed for half the week was also not great. The air conditioner was just too loud. That said, it was great that (i) the parking garage was close to the hotel, (ii) the rooms themselves were reasonably priced, and (iii) the location was fantastic and central. But charging $26 per night for parking was not so great, especially since rental cars are so expensive (over $100 per day). We also had no maid service during the entire 6 day visit but: they were short-staffed and the manager sincerely apologized for that oversight. Marriott, I think it's time to pay cleaning service people more so that they will stay in those jobs!

As a frequent business traveler and loyal Marriott member, I sometimes don't read the reviews before booking a Marriott property. I was very sorry to not do it in this case as I am 'stuck' here for 2 nights. Sometimes location and nice people working for the hotel means nothing when a hotel has reached the point that this hotel has. Between the air conditioner being full on or full off; the sink clogged; shower and bathroom in bad shape; gym in bad shape; enough said. Sorry to say that this hotel has reached a point of no return. It needs a compete overhaul. Too bad Marriott didn't overhall during Covid because as we come out of Covid, people may be booking whatever they can find. Do yourself a favor and find a newer hotel of any other brand.

They have a semi truck cab parked under their overhang for my entire stay. Bathroom has mold growing in the tub. Room cleaning every third day. Parking is $26 per day. Halls smell like pot. Other than that, it's a great place.

I have stayed in many Courtyards and I have always had a good experience. I expected the same quality from this one, particularly being in Buckhead. The location is great. Close to shopping and restaurants.. The quality, however, was disappointing. The floor of the bathroom in the room where I stayed had obviously not been cleaned in a while. Dried urine stains were obvious all around the toilet. The soap dish in the shower was also dirty. The smell of marijuana on the 6th floor, and in our room, was pervasive. Management knew about it because we discussed it, but he just shrugged it off, saying it had been that way since the COVID. I'll choose another hotel next time.
