Not a fan. Ok if you need to stay for hospital needs

Lobby smelled of septic, but staff was very nice. First room was on 3rd floor, road noise was awful. Moved to ten, it was a little better but very very noisy from the road noise, right across the areeet from Emory hospital emergency room so ambulances are extremely loud with sirens. Room temp stayed at 74 degrees, asked for a fan but none available. Stains on the walls, AC in room is rusted and they need to pull the carpet in the halls and rooms and lay flooring. I am still here for 3 more days- this is first impression.

I woke up to an intruder in my room who I chased out. He stole my wallet, credit cards, money. The security staff were able to retrieve my wallet thrown off by the intruder in the stairwell (money taken but driver's license in tact) which was terrific. A case worker (Tanika) was helpful and attentive. However, other aspects of how the security and management team conducted themselves toward me were unprofessional. The Chief of Security and General Manager each lied and when I confronted they said they were sorry. The hotel has few security cameras (none on the floor or the stairwell) and the door lock is not sturdy. The phone in my room didn't work and while they say security patrol the floors and check doors, that is not done effectively if it is done. The Chief of Security put blame on ME as the victim so I had to "prove him wrong" versus him owning where they fell short. They helped with compensation for some of my losses but future guests should know about the holes in their security. It is awful waking up to a man in your hotel room.
Great stay but some areas need some TLC 😀

I rated a 4 because the balcony (room 906) was non operational (bolts through the door frame), but there was trash on the balcony and a piece of clothing that looked like it had been there for awhile and the glass on the outside was so dirty, it was hard to see the beautiful view of Atlanta.

This was by far the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had. To start off we called early that morning for early check in and they told us it would be possible, upon arrival there was no room ready. We waited a bit for one to be ready and we had to put a card on file, which i am okay with, but it was twice the price we were told it would be and we got not print out as to what the charges were and why there were that high when we asked. Upon check in at noon we asked for a crib as we have a 10 month old that needed a nap very badly. 3:00 came around no crib, we asked again, still no crib until we had to ask after the rehearsal dinner at 10:00 pm!!!!!! That's 8 hours for us to get a crib for a baby!!! We were told to call to get valet to pull our car up, we tried to call for 20 minutes and no answer so we had to walk down and ask in person and wait another 15 minutes for our car, causing us to be late! There was no hot water at all and when we asked about it they said they had a problem with hot water on that floor??? We got no money back for the inconvenience, And lastly my sister did not have a car but got charged one night of parking, which is $48, and she called and got it refunded, but then they charged it again the next day! We have tried to call multiple times and it just goes to voicemail!! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel!!!! I only gave one star because i had too!

The room was clean and comfortable. I have a few complaints. The hot water was not working. To the credit of the staff, they did to get this fixed immediately. We did not have the small bottles of shampoo in the room. The clock was on the wrong time.I know these things listed above are minor complaints, It seems to me that things like this should have not been an issue to start with. I’ve stayed at this place before and did not run into these kind of issues. This is a good place to stay for the price. If you do not want to spend over $200 a night, this is a good place.
