Beware Of Parking Fee
Reviewed 6 december, 2021
I am a Gold Elite member and had stayed at this hotel previously with no parking fees, but for my most recent stay I was charged $13.07 for one night of parking. I also checked in at night and did not appreciate having to return to my car in the far corner of the dark parking lot to leave a parking pass in my car. The hotel itself is a standard 3-star hotel. Staff was very friendly and my room was very clean.
Standard 3-Star Hotel

This is a solid 3 star hotel. 100% average. I don’t know how it would get above 3 stars personally. It’s not bad though just average. Here’s our breakdown: PROS: - Solid location but you might still want a car. - Yes, it really is as clean as other reviewers say it is. - The room is exactly what you think - a run-of-the-mill, normal hotel room so no surprises. - friendly staff CONS: - Thin walls; you can hear all the activities outside your room. - Old building in need of maintenance (for example, the elevator button didn’t work half the time for the 3rd floor; we would need to push forcefully and repeatedly) - If you stay above the indoor pool be prepared for your room to smell like chlorine. - The building isn’t well-lit on the outside which makes it hard to discover when driving up to the building to park. We passed the building by accident a couple times while staying here because you literally cannot see it at night.

We have had to travel to Atlanta several times over the last several months for healthcare for our daughter. Our biggest issue is finding a clean hotel room with staff that cared anything about our experience. We had the same problem this time, despite reading good online reviews. We had to check out of another filthy hotel and were pretty exhausted from travel when we decided to check in to Fairfield Marriott in Buckhead. The hotel staff here were like a sweet breath of fresh air that we desperately needed. They listened to our concerns and meet our needs with the best southern hospitality there is to be found. This was not only at checkin, but Kheia and Miquel went above and beyond everytime we called down or stopped by the desk. And the room was so clean! It was the best night of sleep I've had on any of our trips. The beds were clean and comfortable.. The room was quiet and spacious. It had a coffee maker & small refridgerator. No microwave. We reluctantly pulled ourselves out of bed to make it to breakfast. It was worth getting up for. Quite a spread with hot items, fruit, a fridge of yogurt and other items, muffins, danishes, and more. There is also a small pool and fitness room which were open, but we did not make use of. There is even some outdoor seating outside of the pool which is great for those still not excited about eating indoors due to Covid. Highly recommend.

Our room on the 4th floor was very clean quiet. The pillows and covers were comfortable. We thought the staff was friendly and helpful. My family enjoyed the breakfast with hot oatmeal, raisin bagels, and fresh fruit. We will definitely stay here again.
Second time around at the Fairfield Inn

This was the second time staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. This hotel is in a good location near many places in Buckhead. I arrived Friday and the guy who was working at the front desk had great customer service and did a great job checking me into the hotel and also thank me for returning back to the hotel. All the employees I talk to at the hotel was friendly and had a smile. I look forward to returning back to this hotel my next trip to Atlanta.
