Very Good
My family and I literally stay here every time we visit Atlanta which is about one to two times a year. This hotel is in a great location, affordable and clean. The people at the front desk were "ok". There is always room for improvement anywhere you go. We will probably definitely stay here again. We did not get to experience the breakfast this time due to the pandemic, It was a brown bag breakfast. The price, location and cleanliness is all that matters to me though.
Poor Service
Let’s talk “MANAGEMENT “ Ray the Asst and Christopher hotel mgr are both poor examples of Leadership. Ray has a nasty unprofessional attitude and is extremely unprofessional. WATCH your billing carefully! When it was discovered by myself and Hilton Corporate office that they had overcharged me, Ray hung up 3 times, refused to provide a corporate number, refused to acknowledge their error and refused to refund. Hotel Mgr Christopher refused to take any calls or provide reimbursement. Esc to HH Corporate and filed claim with bank and got EVERY DIME from the stay back and filed a complaint against them both. It was a headache dealing with these guys’ sassy attitude and rude rhetoric. Let’s talk about service... ANTS! Requested spray service twice NOT completed. You have to be placed on a list to be serviced 1. Some days they did not show up another day they arrived 7pm in the evening, housekeeping was loud yelling down the hallway to each other and room WAS NOT COVID SANITIZED as described. Heating system barely work with temps as low as 23-36 degrees. Room was average for Buckhead. Best thing about the stay was Val and restaurant Louisiana Bistreaux. Do yourself a favor, Skip it. Plenty other hotels in the area with much better service. It’s franchised so beware they avoid and ignore corporate intervention.
Poor water pressure and lukewarm water
Definitely don’t recommend this hotel if you want hot shower.the water pressure was weak too. Cold showers aren’t fun. The place was relatively empty so I can’t explain the poor water pressure or the lack of hot water
Some measures taken but much more needed
I really hope someone from Hilton sees this review. I came to the hotel to quarantine after my flight until I tested negative for covid and spent the holidays with my family. The good thing about the hotel is the amazing location, pricing, and having a microwave and refrigerator in all the rooms. They do have these purell seals on the door to indicate the room is "disinfected" but you'll understand later that's not accurate. My biggest problem is the hotel staff not wearing masks. The cleaning staff have been in rooms cleaning and none of them have on mask. The front desk puts on their mask when people walk in but sometimes pulls it down to speak. For the cleaning staff to be cleaning guestrooms and literally hollering in the hallway without mask on its irresponsible/reckless especially when we're dealing with a respiratory virus that can remain suspended in the air or contaminate surfaces. If you're thinking about staying here my recommendation is to mask up always and disinfect your room upon arrival because while the staff might be cleaning they are also contaminating it too.
Excellent Stay!
Clean and comfortable room, kind and welcoming staff and convenient check-in made this an excellent stay. Great location in the Buckhead area. My experience at this property was completely positive and I would definitely stay again!
