Extremely Friendly Staff and Upgrades

This was our third visit over the last 8 years and the upgrades were impressive. The elevators were much faster than before and the room had a modern vibe. Our one bedroom had all the things you would need to stay for the week and I especially appreciated the walk in shower and the lighted mirrors. The dining chairs needed to be updated because the legs were crooked on more than one. We stayed on the 24th floor and the sunset views were breathtaking. You can easily walk the boardwalk to the casinos and save on parking costs. There is a daily parking charge for the resort and Google Maps drops you one street over instead of having you turn at the 7-11. One car per unit is permitted in the parking garage and additional cars can pay to park in an open lot nearby. Every single staff member was extremely helpful and kind. We had breakfast at the diner connected to the building.
Two Blocks from Concerns

Positives: this place has great views of the Atlantic City boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. Furniture is aging and a little worn. Unit was visibly clean but upon closer inspection the kitchen countertop was gritty. Not bad overall condition. Located right off the boardwalk near Ripley's Believe It Or Not, and has its own parking deck next door. Negatives: two blocks away, on the main street (Pacific Avenue) there is a 7Eleven that attracts a lot of foot traffic of customers who are visibly very down on their luck! For that matter, the boardwalk also has a fair number of people resting on the public park benches who are also in need of assistance. While I have compassion for people in need, so many being on the boardwalk everyday keep us constantly on alert.

We only stayed one night. We had the studio room with the queen size bed and sofa bed. It was very clean and the location to the beach is excellent. Ms Zai who checked us in was extremely professional and very pleasant as were all of the other staff members. Great pool and fitness area also. Will definitely return here if we’re in the area again. The building is right behind me! Also had fabulous views from floor 25/ room 2504

The room was a lot more outdated than we expected. Based on the photos provided on Airbnb, we expected a way nicer suite than the one that was provided. All of the outlets in the wall were super loose. My phone charger would not stay without falling out. Also, the room could’ve definitely been cleaner. The ice tray in the fridge had a thick red substance on it which I found pretty disgusting. Despite that, we had a great ocean view and you can’t beat the price or the location.
best value for money in on the boardwalk

The benefits of the Atlantic Palace are the views and prices. The views are exceptional, with massive, wide windows in many rooms overlooking the ocean. To boot, they have cheaper prices than any other hotel of similar size. No casino means less tacky and less unnecessary nonsense. I've been staying at the Palace with family for nearly two decades and have never been disappointed. For people looking for more independence, less oversight, less rules, less casino people and more comfort while saving money: book the Palace. The pool and spa area is really great place for couples, families or anyone looking for a quick dip. On my last visit, nothing seems to have changed. My room was lovely, and the view stunning. Bang for the buck epitomized.
