Stunning place

Reviewed 26 july, 2018

What a wonderful cost and beautiful place. You feel so welcome and the surroundings are breathtaking. The rooms a nice but it’s the vibe that surrounds this place that is amazing. Very nice breakfast and you get help and advice from the host. Would not hesitate to come back.

Pleasant spot

We had a pleasant stay here while traveling along the Pyrenees. The young hosts are welcoming and we shared a lovely home-cooked dinner with them. We had a newly finished room under the roof and quite warm at first and sparsely decorated, but we suspect this is not the case for most rooms. We enjoyed the outside (more temperate) spaces - the garden and the stream. The breakfast was quite robust, freshly homemade and delicious.

Just perfect!

The house is on the outskirts of a small village but we'll away from the road, on a cul de sac that goes nowhere and next to a mountain stream. The views from the house towards the Pyrenees are beautiful and unencumbered. The old farmhouse has been tastefully restored. We stayed in a large upstairs room with a very stylish bathroom and a lovely private balcony from which to enjoy the view. The owner Marion is a great hostess and we enjoyed her cooking talents for each of the evenings that we were there. The house wine is very acceptable and breakfasts were good. There are several walks that can be done straight from the house. Between the house and the village is a large riverside lawn with lots of shade for summer lounging. For birdwatchers there are a pair of Dippers easily observable five minutes upstream from the lodgings. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights here; we had initially reserved for two nights but were pleased to learn that the room was available for one more night and seized the opportunity of an extra night in this little paradise. I think that says it all!
