I made reservations and then they cancelled it to rebook at a higher rate. Basically your reservations are meaningless. Book elsewhere. They also exposed my email address to other potential customers. DO NOT BOOK HERE.


Worst Hotel in Austin

If I could give this place no stars I would. I staaaa...? Well my wife and I tried to stay here during the Big Snow storm so we would not have to drive to work from Taylor in the ice and snow. Well the first night on Sunday was a mess, room keys given to rooms with guest still in them but weather was getting bad so we stayed since we had made our reservation through Booking.com. The Front Desk clerk had no idea what was going on. He said that he did not work in this location but they were short staffed so they called him in but the manager would be coming in that night. I asked for coffee since there was not any in the room and he had no idea where anything was or how this hotel ran. I had reserved the room till Wednesday. Since it was convenient for work and the weather was not going to let up I foolishly asked to extend my stay till Saturday. The manager told me that I could, but it would be a different invoice since the original reservation was done through booking.com. No problem right? Well a bad situation got even worst. A little after midnight on Monday night we were woken up by gushing water on our bed from the ceiling. I got out of bed and the leak was getting worst. I went to the bathroom and the water was coming from the lights, air vents and smoke detectors. Opened the door to the room and realized it was the entire hotel. Grabbed our belongings but they were already wet. We packed and took everything to the car. Mind you we are wet at this point and its 7 degrees outside. I tried talking to the hotel manager but she was..... lets say at a lose for words. All the guest were trying to figure out what was going on and what was going to happen next but she had no answers. Actually she(the Manager) did not talk, she just stood their staring at us. No "I'm sorry, no; we are try to figure this out" Nothing just, a stare! I handed my key card and still nothing. We went to the car since were COLD and we still had to figure out where we were going to stay, and I still have to work in a couple hours. I called around but everything was full for the night. I got a room at the Marriot and asked if I could pay extra to do an early check in, I'm desperate at this point. But since they were full we had to sleep in my car, wet and freezing. Well this is getting away from the point. Fast forward a week, I called Quality Inn but no answer. I called corporate to see about a refund but was told that I needed to talk to the Manager. I was told that initial reservation refund would have to be done by Booking.com since it was a third party reservation. Called Booking.com was told that they would refund me but had to get approval from Quality inn manager. At first I was told that I would get my refund except for the Monday that I stayed there which I had no problem with, then I was emailed and told that they would not be refunding me my reservation. I called and was told that they had not been able to get ahold of a manager. Been calling and calling with no luck. Fast forward 1 month have not been able to get ahold of "Manager" and neither has Booking.com. so I'm still out $400. Oh yea and in the rush of leaving I left belongings that I never got ahold of them to try and retrieve. So yea ZERO stars from me!!!!


Ownership Does Not Care About Property and it Shows

I stayed here as my company booked me a room for two-nights due to the snow/weather event in Texas. As a former Marriott employee, when I say this place needs a revamp, it needs a revamp. First the photos that advertise this place do not reflect its actual offering. Second, maintenance is non-existent. Loose tiles near the elevators, broken shower rod, stains on the walls from patching and other questionable stains, damage from vandalism in the elevators, missing ceiling tiles in the hallway. Third, lukewarm "hot" water at best. No coffee items for the coffee maker in the restroom (may be because of Covid). The staff was friendly, I'll give it that but I don't understand why these overseas franchisees (Middle East) don't care about their products???

While it is close to the airport and on the cheaper side, there is no good reason to book this hotel. Felt like we were going to get robbed here. There was no shuttle to the airport when we were there so we had to Uber. The room was beat up and the entire hotel was rough. This hotel hasn't been given much love from management for a long time and needs a good overhaul. Look else where before booking here.


No airport shuttle. Don't stay here!

I booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a "free shuttle from the airport" however when I called, the front desk said it wasn't available so I had to take a lyft. When I arrived, I asked to speak with a manager but he wasn't available. The man who checked me in was rude and appeared clueless. Please stop advertising free shuttle when it's not available. In addition, the sheets were dirty and there was no coffee in the rooms (as advertised). Also, if you call for a lyft/uber, they come to the back of the hotel (due to the highway) so you have to walk all the way around which was annoying. When I checked out, the lady at front desk was very nice and apologized for everything (name was b.thank). Overall, please don't stay here. There are plenty of nicer hotels near the aiport. I'm still waiting to hear back from the manager.
