Nice location in a somehow dated hotel

Hotel is very nicely located in a beautiful setting and close to the city centre. Rooms are satisfactory if a bit dated in the decor. Unfortunately the staff is not very helpful and they seem poorly trained in what the hotel offers. There are also some organizational issues. There’s a buffet at dinner but menus are only posted about an hour before, making it hard to plan. Even when booked, staff doesn’t have all the registrations. And then they always mess up your bill. Cleaning staff is aggressive and starts banging on doors at 9AM. Rooms are nice and large but feel a bit old and dated. Bathrooms don’t provide the toiletries you would expect from a hotel like this. Toilets are uncomfortable being all smooshed up against a side wall so that your leg presses against the toilet paper holder. The toilet seat is yellow underneath. TVs are decent and with plenty of channels but their signal breaks up a lot. Lights are a nightmare. They have NFC keys but still provide you with an extra “magnetic” key to turn on the lights. The keys card still mentions magnetic keys. Then there are switches all over. The ones by the bed are installed so far that you have to get up to use the switches. Lamps have their own switch in the chord PLUS a wall switch. Then each side of the bed has switches to the other side, making it very hard to have the right combination to turn the lamp on. Furniture looks old and dented. Mattress is very springy.
Great hotel in a good location!

A strange looking building in the outskirts of Avierro but a good place to stay. A 10 minute walk along the canals to the main town. The rooms aren’t large but adequate and well equipped. Beds are comfy and the rooms with a view are worth the little bit extra. Nice bar area, and good food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. And they cater for gluten-free.

Hotel location really good, walking distance to everything. Big open parking area in front. Very nice experience at check in, room clean and nice. Beds strange, some plastic material under/in the sheets made them really uncomfortable ( removed from my bed) after that really good. Rooms close to elevators are to avoid during weekends, all noise from restaurant including piano bar will keep you awake. Breakfast ticks all boxes, plenty to choose from. Will book again...
It was good enough

Room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center but it's just a 10m walk away, so it's not an issue. Could be a little more clean. Toilet had a yellowish rim on the undersided of the lid
Really nice hotel

Very comfy and clean hotel. The room has a nice ambience. The beds are comfy, the room has a minibar which is handy and the bathroom is modern and clean. Unfortunatly our room faced a parking lot so we didnt enjoy a nice view... Which was sad because the hotel is located in such a lovely place... The breakfast was very good (bread was really nice) and there was plenty to choose from, although fruit cups were way too small. The staff was very friendly. The spa/indoor pool was nice. We really enjoyed our stay but we wish we had a better room view...!
