My husband and I spent 17 days at this beautiful resort, during the peak summer time. We truly enjoyed every moment. The service, premises, food and overall experience we had exceeded our expectations. Rooms are very clean and beds are extremely comfortable. We opted for sea view room on a higher floor and this was a big plus. We also chose half board and we were very satisfied with the selection of food. Everything was fresh and tasted like home made. We also dined in some nearby restaurants and the hotel restaurant was much better than some of these places as well. Beach is rocky, but there are several entrances in the water and we never had any issues finding the umbrella and chairs. The staff was amazing. All of them were really polite, professional and helpful. A special thanks goes to reception staff: Katarina, Stefan and Kreso, restaurant staff: Duje, Nenad, Ratko and others. We also met the general manager Tom who made us feel very welcome and added a few personal touches to make our stay even more comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel in a near future and we recommend it to anyone looking for a unforgettable stay in Dubrovnik.
Great Service !!

Lovely hotel right on the coast. Staff are were great and the rooms were better than expected. Food offered for breakfast was very good. A good range for everybody. Only a short walk down to the centre of Lapad along the promenade which was beautiful. Couldn't give it a 5 just for the simple reasons that our key card for our room kept failing and I had to go to reception at least 8 times for a new one. Also the power sockets in the room weren't great so trying to get the hairdryer to work took forever. Hotel is great for couples or friends but not a lot to do for young people.
Luxurieus and fun.

A stay in this hotel is amazing. Very friendly and helpfull staff. So many swimming pools to choose out so its never feels crowed. Clean, modern room with al the facility you need and a little welcome plate with sweets and a welcome card lets you feel welcome. The welness team spoils you with al kind of luxurieus treatments. And a heardresser who works late. Excellent 🤩

A lovely hotel all round. Beautiful views and a very good range of facilities. You have access to all the hotels along the same strip, so there are ample pools, bars and spa's to choose from. We found ourselves on the rooftop bar/ pool area most days and the staff up there were very attentive and professional, and made an amazing stawberry daquiri! Breakfast is busy but again the staff were very quick in clearing tables and re stocking food. The only two cons about this hotel were the beds and the room. We booked a panoramic double room and they pushed two single beds together - a bit cheeky when you're paying £200 a night. I have stayed in hotels where they have done this before but you can get beds that split into twins when necessary and then zip back up to become a double again, and you can barely notice the difference. However this was very obviously two twins put together. Also, the view was lovely but far away from the window - when you get closer to the window our view was tarnished slightly by the massive stone flat roof of the bar / restaurant below. I think the photos hide this on purpose. However these two cons were minimal and overall we were very happy with our stay!
A fancy hotel, away from hustle - perfect for couples

My partner and I booked our first major holiday since the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions and decided to try a new country - Croatia! Certainly not a disappointment. We stayed at the Hotel Royal Neptun, which is part of a much larger complex all owned and inter-operated by the same rig. This is great news for guests as it meant we had unrestricted access across a vast area and I believe 9 swimming pools, a large sea swimming area which is cordoned off from the busy bay area full of boats and jet skis. Sadly, we never had time to try all the pools - need to come back again. So, to break it down: Staff - 5/5 Everyone worked hard and were extremely polite and courteous. We were very pleased with our experience with almost all of the staff members - a couple of staff were slightly rude at the evening bar however I'm not one to gripe over that - I know how tough the service industry can be. Facilities - 3.5/5 Our room was well equipped but was in need of a good bit of post summer maintenance. The drawer in the bathroom and also the wardrobe doors were stiff to move, the room paintwork needed touching up in certain areas (pedantic, I know) and the door to enter the room was also stiff, rubbing adversely against the carpet which could in theory present a safety risk for exiting the room in an emergency. The shower pressure left something to be desired and the air-con user interface was not very user friendly and would not shift from auto mode meaning that the only way to shut the system full off was to leave the balcony door open. It didn't bother us too much apart from causing some obscene snoring in the night which was sure to wake the neighbours over in Italy! Otherwise, the beds were exceptionally comfy and a free safe is provided. Our balcony area was of a decent size however there is no drying rack of any kind. A small fridge is also provided which contains a small mini-bar. Food - 5/5 You're spoiled for choice - the hotel complex boasts 4 ala carte restaurants as well as a buffet style restaurant which can booked as part of your half board package. A personal recommendation would be to enjoy the Sea Bass along with a bottle of Pošip from the Zoë Restaurant. The breakfast offered pretty much everything you could ask for. Plenty options for all and even included a large gluten free section and also a selection of plant based milk alternatives as well. In terms of drinks, there are a number of bars throughout the complex serving local beers on draught, local wines and spirits alongside "big name" imports, though alcohol appears to be a touch expensive in Dubrovnik on the whole, I believe there is a beverage tax...? Anyway, in closing - a fantastic hotel with great facilities, staff and plentiful food options to choose from. It's some distance away from the Old Town, however there is a frequent bus service which runs directly from 0530-0100 every day, however it gets very busy so he prepared to have to stand. Final strong point? Direct access into the deep of the Adriatic Sea. There are plenty diving opportunities and fish are plentiful in these waters, there's loads to see underneath so make sure to pack your goggles! Please enjoy the gratuitous shot of me enjoying the view from the reception balcony alongside the view from our own balcony and the kind of sunset you can expect to see 😍
