This modern hotel lies directly on the beach promenade of the medieval city of Dubrovnik, extremely close to Dalmatia's south coast. The hotel affords wonderful views of the coastline and the beach is a mere 50 m away. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached with a bus station, which can be found about 100 m away. The tourist centre lies at 3.5 km distance and guests can find an array of restaurants and bars within only a few minutes from the property. Cheap and cheerful- don't expect extras like shampoo etc, but do expect a clean room, nicely decorated, basic bathroom, a good breakfast and sweet staff (we left an iPad in the room after check out- they called to let us know).
Clean hotel in good location

The hotel is nice and very clean. Small rooms. Nice staff. You have to ask for cleaning due to covid. And we asked once and they forgot it but did the cleaning the following day. The location is good since it’s close to the sea. We booked a room with partial sea view and we had the sea view when we were standing . We could have booked another room not paying extra for the view , this view were nothing to pay for. We were in the back of the building too so no nice view at all. Breakfast was good with many options. Unfortunately a lot of people smoke and it seems that it is ok to smoke at the restaurants here but it is not so nice during breakfast. We had lunch once at Agora restaurant, it was ok, not delicious. It was not possible to get tap water as at other more upscale restaurants, you had to buy a 75 cl bottle for almost 5 euros which I think is very bad. It should be ok to get tap water for free if you want too. It is a small thing but annoying. I didn’t use the gym but it looked good.

I want to give 10 stars to Marina for all that she did for me during my 3 day stay here. She was truly a LIFE saver. So professional, so helpful and so kind!!! She is definitely the reason for my great overall experience. My room had a great balcony, it was close to Sunset beach and also close to the bus to get to old town. Plus you get a nice breakfast included. But this hotel is not in old town; I'd consider it like a suburb. I walked to old town one day and it took at least 45 minutes. Something to consider. But thanks again to Marina for all that she did for me.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a girls trip and have a wonderful experience! The hotel was clean and cute and in a great location! We were close to tons of great restaurants and next to a beautiful beach! The staff was kind and helpful! When they found out our flight was not leaving til 5pm they allowed us a late check out! We would definitely stay there again!

Hotel Perla is a pearl, an excellent small boutique hotel in the middle of old town Dubrovnik. We stayed in a family suite that had everything to make you feel at home, including a beautiful living room-dining area with loft. The decor was romantic with modern touches and felt like an aunt had personally prepared it for you. Fruit, candy and a homemade cherry liquor were left as a welcome gifts. Thomas, the owner, met us at the old town gate and carried our luggage to the hotel, as cars cannot get to the location. There is no service desk but Thomas offered advice on where to eat and what to see (in good English) and left his contact information for any questions we might have. In the end, he invited us to stay an additional day for free, because we couldn't get to our next destination due to the cancellation of a ferry ride, then drove us to the bus stop to catch a ride to Split. Thank you, Thomas, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
