I had to change as the hotel I wanted was fully booked and this one looked nice enough. The pool sold me and was nice as well as the gym. The room, well, it was clean but still a lingering touch of smoke even if it wasnt bad enough to make me cough. The view from the balconny was excellent, if you like houses. Limited sky ... but hey, they do have suites at high floor. I didnt. Breakfast was OK and had what I wanted. Will I be back? Well for a night or two, I might, longer than that, probaly not beacuse I do like to be baleto sees omething outside of my room, and those rooms, Im not sure I will get.

We had booked a different hope land complex and got taken here by taxi from the airport. They said we were at the wrong place which was our mistake so we asked if they could ring us a taxi, particulalry as we were very tired after our long flight and didn’t fancy getting the train with our huge backpacks. They laughed at us (she was called Pat) and said they couldn’t book and we should walk or get the train. So we left abit staggered by the unwillingness to help!

Stayed here for 6 nights as the other hotels that we normally stay in were not available. It has good location access to Phrom Phong BTS, and is about a 10 minute walk to there and Sukhumvit Rd. Emporium and EM Quartier are also easy to access from this hotel. We normally like to have a balcony to relax and have a drink or coffee, whilst this hotel said it had balconies - the room that we got was taken up by the air con units, and you could fit one person standing only, it was that small. The hotel seems to try and imitate some of the higher class hotels in this street by having a plush and grand foyer, restaurant, and pool area - but doesn't really carry it off when it comes to the most important part of the hotel - the accommodation (which was passable, but dated). Hotel Pros: Close to BTS and Emporium; EM Quartier / relatively quiet / nice peaceful pool / guest laundry available. Hotel cons: Horrible breakfasts - lack of variety, food generally cold or lukewarm at best / lack of proper balconies / noisy air con outdoor units

While the lobby looks nice, the rooms are dated both in looks and style. When you open the cupboards, an old socks odor pounces on your nostrils, it smells as if it has not been cleaned in months. It's their Bubble gum spray which they use to cover the smell of smoke which is all over the hotel. The breakfast is shockingly bad, you're better off eating at 7/11. We went there once but that was enough, did not return even though it was included. The staff is very nice though.

The stench of stale cigarette smoke pervades this place like no other on earth. The smell of stale smoke was everywhere - in the lobby, in the corridors leading to the rooms and in the room. It was so bad I cancelled my booking and lost my deposit rather than risk getting sick or worse from staying in such a terrible atmosphere. In 45 years of business travel I have only experienced this problem 3 times and on all occassions I really feel sorry for the staff that they choose to work in such a terrible environment!
