This hotel is located a bit far from the Sukhumvit main road. But it is in a very calm and secluded place. The surroundings are actually residential area. So your stay would be calm and peaceful. It has a open air lobby outside which is good to spend some time with other mates staying there, The room was tidy and neat. Spacious as well with a nice balcony. The amenities provided were good. It has a bathtub in the bathroom, Usable kitchen and small dinning table as well. It is located in Sukhumvit. So obviously there is no problem to find a place to eat. There are plenty around. Shopping malls and parks are very near by too. A good thing is, we can reach Queen Sirikit BTS station by walk which gives us access to BTS Blue line as well. I would recommend this place to those who love some self time away from the buzzling city yet need to be nearby.

We spent 2 night, here, the room was smell, old and unclean. Don’t waist your time and money. The staff was OK but they refused when i asked them to changing room. Felt bad and disapointed. Never come back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are big and nice and well cleaned. The hotel also have a small but nice rooftop pool. Price worthy hotel in good location in middle of bangkok close to everything you need.

Budget accommodation in Soi 20

The Icheck Inn in Soi 20 is a bit off the beaten track all the way at the end of Soi 20 in a small side soi. The room was basic and a bit dated but clean. It had a small fridge, a quite hard bed, a small balcony and shower bath gel and shampoo. This is a real budget accommodation and did deliver nicely on that promise. If you want a higher standard then book something more expensive than 30 Euros a night. If you are happy with basics and dont mind walking at least 10 minutes to the main road then this might be the place for you. A 500 bath deposit is taken upon check-in, alot less than many other places. Staff were friendly and even got us a cab at 6am in the morning so we didnt have to look for it ourselves. The place has a tuc tuc and they will be happy to take you to the mainroad, the Sukhumvit. If I were on a budget I would not hesitate to stay here again. Value for money is good.

So I made a booking through booking.com, reaching to Bangkok took a bit longer, and they automatically just cancelled the booking , eventhough I updated the card details online. So while on the way to Bangkok I suddenly got the email notifying me that the reservation was cancelled by the property. Can you imagine this situation? Being on the way and having to look again for some other property made the evening a bit frustrating
