The worst service in Thonglor BKK
I reserve the room of this hotel but I acquire the worst service of receptionist of hotel because I have symptom which is a tremendously stomachache. I ask him for using the restroom but his answer deny my request due to inconvenience service room. I pay the service but I don’t receive the service. In my recommendation, please going away from the IR-ON hotel Bkk. This hotel doesn’t have sense of serving customer satisfaction.
The room either couldn’t lock or couldn’t be open
We probably slept last night with the door locked (not realising it), we left this evening and found out that the door could be opened after we closed it. The lady at the reception then said we had to tap the key card to lock it. And now, we have been waiting in the lobby for 20 mins at 3.15am coz they couldn’t open our door. This is not funny anymore.
Bad service. Not recommended
The facility is very basic. The design of the hotel is nice but the service was really bad. The staff at the reception did not smile or greet us even one single time during our 3 days stay. Only the housekeeping lady and a young fellow smiled and sat good morning to us. Do not recommend to stay here. Service is very cold and the room facility is retired.
Nice boutique hotel. Reasonable room rates
My stay in Bangkok this time is at a trendy boutique hotel located 5 min walk away from Thong Lo BTS. The hotel has an unfinished, indutrial look, with iron being featured prominently in its decor, from its iron grilled exterior to its furniture and lighting. A plus point is its room rates are very affordable. Though the front line service and cleaning is good, the room I got had a leaky faucet. Another point to note is that it's not family friendly. Also, the short walk to the BTS is quite dangerous cause it was a narrow road with no pedestrian walkway. We were walking on the shoulder of the road with vans, cars and motorcycles whizzing close by. Thankfully, the Thai drivers are considerate. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
Small but clean and tidy
With that kind of price, the room actually exceeded my expectations. Location is good, 5 min walk to Thong Lor BTS. The room is small but it's just nice for 2 persons and we still have a lot of space for our luggage and stuff. The interior is unique. The bed is so comfy that I did not expect that in a boutique hotel. Staff is friendly too. The only thing that is odd is the shower head. Water would seep into the room through the door opening at the bottom due to the angle of the shower head. We had to hold the shower head when we shower and the handle gets hot. Overall, good hotel and we enjoyed our stay better than the so-called 4-star hotel we stayed after IR-ON. Would have just stayed with IR-ON.
