Value in Huai Khwang

The MeStyle Museum hotel is located about 1 km from the Huai Khwang MRT. I would say this hotel is marketed for the Thai tourist and in better years the Chinese crowd. The positives are it’s design. The hotel is eclectic but not over the top in its design. I would say they are going for an industrial feel ala steampunk with naked concrete walls and exposed conduit. Not everyone’s thing but I quite liked it. The hotel has all of the modern conveniences with an adequate pool and a smallish gym. There is a restaurant within called the Map. The negatives are the Map restaurant seems to be suffering from post pandemic issues like poorly trained staff and poorly stocked menu items. Three out of the five dishes ordered turned out to be unavailable which the waitress was unaware of when first ordered. The lobby bar has a nice cocktail list but was terribly expensive. Lastly, be prepared the walk approximately 15 minutes to the nearest MRT station or risk your life with a short moto taxi ride. Overall I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was extremely comfortable and a good value.

Hotel is very nice and good service from restaurant staff (Mr.Guitar). He is very good service on breakfast. Hotel is art design and red pool is also wonderful. Hope to have a chance to revisit again soon.
