Do not stay with rude people.

Worst receptionist imaginable. Clearly untrained in customer service and with no sense of politeness nor ability to listen. This chain of hotels should avoid employing indifferent and poorly educated staff since the hotel is losing a lot of money as a result.

Poor service and rude front office

Booked and paid through Agoda for 3 nights from Christmas day. Arrived hotel around 12 noon but was told to return only at 2pm coz 2pm is the check-in time. Can't the front desk staff be flexible and allow guests to check-in since pre-booked rooms were available?? So sat at the reception and waited until 2pm but, still have to queue for our turn as there were 2 other guests arrived earlier than us. Waited another half an hour ie until 2.30pm to register for check-in. Asked the staff if there is hair dryer in the room but was told its out of stock and that there is no way to get one for me. They even raised their voices saying that there is nothing they could do. No stock means no stock!!! As I've booked for 3 nights, so they expect me of not washing my hair for 3 days? So ridiculous. Finally, we cancelled the room and went yo scout for another hotel nearby. There was not even an apology from both the front desk staff.... Such bad attitute

Good value for a budget centrally located hotel in a busy night life district of Bangkok. Reception staff speak english and a basic breakfast is proposed to the guests. Reception hall nicely decorated with teddy bears.

Located in soi 8 hust 50m down off Silom rd. Cars can access ftom soi 6 . Rooms basic small bathroom . Beds a bit hard. Good location to the Patpong night markets and bars just a 5 min walk. Sala Daeng BTS & the MRT subway are only 5 - 10 mins walk away.

Do NOT stay here

Reviewed 7 october, 2019

First of all, the Thai people / employees were fantastic and did what they could. However, Bad is bad no matter how good the people are. I stayed at the Nantra Silom Hotel in Bangkok at the start and end of my trip to Thailand, mid September and early October, 2019. I had prebooked on Agoda.com. I stayed in room 312, my first 2 nights in Thailand and room 714, my last 3 nights. In 312 there is black mold everywhere, especially in the shower / toilet room. When you shower, all the water pools around the toilet and you need about 20 towels to mop it up. The laminate flooring in the main room has been destroyed from all the water that collects on it. But it was only for 2 nights so I put up with it. When I came back, I got room 714. There was no water on the whole floor for 7 hours. A japanese family that had 2 rooms on the 7th floor said that they had very little water for the past 24 hours. Then I noticed little bugs throughout the whole room, mostly in the shower room and around the sink. I should have switched hotels but I asked for a can of bug spray instead. The bug spray fumes gave me a sinus infection. In both rooms, the Air conditioning units need an extreme disinfectant cleaning. I can not recommend the Nantra Silom Hotel and I give it 0 (zero) stars. Scott Moyer -- Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
