Red door
Modern clean room with balcony located in quiet soi, a few minutes walk from Samsen Road and restaurants bars etc. Small local shops nearby Have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 months Friendly staff. Good room rate.
Cosy, value for money
We had a very nice stay in this little family run hotel. It is vary basic, but you have everything you need. It has a nice atmosphere, with a lot of plants and a tropical feeling. The room was very clean. It is close to Khaosan Road and Rambrutti, but far enough to have all the quiet you need for a good night sleep. On the 5th floor there is a beautiful rooftop, they serve breakfast here and we also went up in the evening to eat our mango sticky rice or to drink our fresh coconut juice. It is very easy and cheap to get around by taxi and river boats. With taxi drivers always ask them to put on the meter, otherwise don't go with them, a next one will come who will be willing to take you with the meter on.
Great 5 days in bangkok
Had a fab time here. Clean modern rooms.. Great for the river ferry's for exploring and lots of bars restaurants within walking distance. Got there early and reception girl got us a room made up a good few hours early free of charge. Nice rooftop terrace for a bit of relaxing or catching some sunshine. Only fault was lift broke twice and was on fourth floor. Not a problem except was broke when initially got there so suitcases had be lugged upstairs. Other than that fantastic place and service. I will be back when next in Bangkok Barry
Stayed 3 nights
The Red Door has very nice helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a balcony to enjoy a cold beer. View of the river is essentially not there but if you are there for a view, go somewhere else. Location a bit difficult to locate as tucked away, but close to everything and very quiet away from main street traffic and craziness. Great value, would definitely stay again.
Wonderful hotel
Red door is a very nice hotel, excellent value for money , tucked away in a small lane, hard to find but worth the search However the beds were too hard like many others and the breakfast was disappointing especially the use of plastic cutlery and throwaway cups . I make a strong request to the owners to stop using this plastic pollution , get proper cutlery and cups please. If you don’t mind a hard bed and the throwaway eating utensils then this is a great place.
