Clean hotel, helpful staff

The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is super friendly and go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. Only issue was with super loud air conditioning unit. It sounds like an airplane taking off.

Hotel is in need a refurbishment. The Front Desk staff, especially “BGALLISON98”, should re-evaluate their career in Hospitality. That man couldn’t even make eye contact. The GM was working in street clothes when I checked in. It’s an out-dated property. As a Diamond member they stuck me in 227 overlooking the HVAC system. The strangest thing (not a complaint or any influence on my rating) was that they kept red wine open for purchase as self checkout but kept white wine locked up. Bizarre. Stay at the Residence Inn, not here, when visiting Bangor and surrounding area.

Great Location and Great Staff

I visit Bangor on business quite often and stay at Bangor HGI. A great location, just off I-95, close to restaurants etc. The best part is their staff. Very friendly and caring - give you a personal feeling. Always there to help any time of the day and night.

Good and clean hotel but the service team makes the difference ! Always helpful, very friendly and customer oriented, they are way above the average. From the moment we walked in all the way through check-out we were treated as valued guests, we are missing that attitude with a lot of luxury hotels.

Not open for business because they are not stocking inventory of items that are part of daily service beds need to be replaced fitness center needs to be cleaned and water needs to be added into the dispenser
