Bed bugs, it was the worst stay I've ever had, they charge 10 dollars per night for 2 bottles of water in the room I didn't touched, front office staff are not professionals, not recommending this hotel.

Rates were reasonable and the area seemed safe. They have a covered garage when parking. None of the restaurants were open when we were there. It seems they open Wednesday thru Sunday. No buffet since Covid. The restaurant inside that was open, was okay. We went across the street to get snacks and something to drink because nothing was available. Our room was clean, and provide us with our needs. No pool or hot tub. They do have a washer/dryer that is about $2.00 for each. Easy check in/out. Non smoking casino.

Disappointed treatment at checkout

I stayed one night at the hotel. When I checked out there was a charge from the bar for $7. I did not use the bar and made no charge for anything else. When I complained I was told by the front desk they had to call the bar so they could review all the charge slips. I asked how long that would take and they could give me no answer. I said I would wait in the lobby. After about 10 minutes I asked how much longer and still got no answer. I said I was getting irritated, did not make the charge and wanted it removed from my bill. They ignored me and continued with their work. I asked to speak to the manager and learned that the woman working there was the manager. I asked how long this would take and she said something to the affect that it would take however long it took. I said I thought this was poor customer service, that I don’t lie about such things, have had a choice account for many years and they were not taking my word for a $7 charge. She said I could leave and if the charge was not mine they would credit me. I left very unhappy. I did get an email and credit the next day. That is not good enough. I was not believed and they made an error. When I left I had no confidence this would get fixed. The staff were inconsiderate and rude to me.

Beautiful hotel - Quiet and Spacious Rooms

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. the staff were amazing and the facilities are beautiful. They provided shuttle service to and from the airport as we were travelling. They have a very low parking charge as long as you have a stay on one end of your trip. The lot is a nice covered parking garage. We also had an amazing shuttle driver who even gave us a little tour of Bangor and some famous sites. Went above and beyond, We also had an opportunity to catch a few horses training. I would highly recommend this hotel. :-)

Better then expected

Due to a missfortune of a vehicle malfunction my trip to Mohegan sun casino was cut short, so I decided to partake of the local casino in Bangor Hollywood Slots. The room rates at that time were very reasonable. the only issue was the in house pub restaurant was closed the two days I was there so had to either leave the hotel for meals or have it delivered to the room. The room was clean and the view was on the river side, also very quiet. There are spa facilities on site but I did not utilize. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. I will be returning for future visits.
