Hampton Inn, I-55 Interchange, Exit 243, Batesville, MS
Feb 5, 2021, Friday night. Arrived after dark. Well lit, friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed, great pillows, quiet heater. All would have rated a 5-star. Saturday morning breakfast changed everything. Attached pic was the Saturday morning breakfast setup that greeted us. What u c is it. Cold cereal, apple juice, coffee, later bag breakfast (apple, water, breakfast bar, Danish bun). Cereal bowl, milk on table. Cooking/heating apparatuses were in breakfast room, but closed down. Breakfast offering was appalling. Spartan! This was Saturday morning breakfast. As a result, I give this hotel 2 stars, max. And that's a gift. Oh. And, we found a large pocket knife with a chain on the floor, apparently left by a previous guest. We now stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites located on the other side of the Interstate.
Wonderful choice!
The hotel was extremely clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious. All bath products were neutrogena, and there was good water pressure in the shower. The hotel provided homemade cookies, water, coffee and got chocolate along with an assorted breakfast. Also, there were a variety of snacks and drinks (including beer) available for purchase.
Gross Rooms, Horrible Parking, Poorly Lit Exterior.
This the most disgusting Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at in years. If I were in town more than one night I would have switched hotels. Disgustingly dirty room. Dirty grout, dirty furniture, filthy stained toilet, switch covers falling off, AC thermostat not working. The list goes on...
Great place to stay with friendly helpful staff
Came into town for a funeral check-in was quick and easy everything overall was great from the check in to the breakfast no complaints whatsoever wish the pool was indoors however so we could have enjoyed no matter what's the weather
Poor customer service
Poor customer service. Poor attitudes. The staff was not helpful at all when I called to make the reservations I was continuously put on hold and sent to a reservation service instead of the staff helping me. I will not stay at the hotel again and I’ll also make sure that I pass the word so the others in my company will not stay at this hotel. I felt as though the staff did not want to be there nor did they want to help.
