Very good service of Yariza and Javier in the main restaurant. Thanks. The kindest guys, great restaurant, great cuisine. You definitely need to have dinner at their place. We'll definitely come back.

Our stay at Catalonia Royal la Romana was good. The beautiful place, many beautiful places to take photos, very peaceful, especially in the place where we stayed. The very calm sea almost looked like swimming pool and very clean. The reception was very friendly upon arrival and guided us on how the resort works. Something that if I can say that it should improve is the food, for me it is very important that the food is good, especially if it is a 5-star resort. Sadly almost every restaurant I tried was bad, from bland food to poorly prepared food. There was nothing special about the food. Another thing that can also be improved is the ease of obtaining towels when you want to go to the sea or the pool, I always had to be waiting for towels, and after a certain time there were no more towels and the pool was open until 8pm. Something that I can appreciate is that the "Sushi Bar" made very good drinks and the sushi was very good. There were very friendly people but very few, I think they could be a little more friendly and attentive. What I can appreciate was the dance and karaoke nights at the Merengue Bar, also the live music in front of the Royal Lobby. In conclusion, it is a good place to relax and unwind and enjoy the Caribbean Sea.

The best part about this resort is the beach. It is beautiful but the rest needs improvement from the food to the service. The food is terrible and the workers almost don’t want to serve you . The adults only is just a small section of the resort , everything from the restaurants and the events and the pool is on the side of families . It is not really an only adults resort.

Everything perfect. Dinner was very good. 🤙 the room was also everything good. We had a perfect look to the pool bar. The beach was beautiful. We can recommend the hotel to every you young couple 👍👍👍
