We were driving from Galveston to Baton Rouge and had not planned to stay at this hotel. Then it poured rain and the highway started to flood so we pulled in at he Holiday Inn out of necessity. We were pleasantly surprised. The check-in was friendly and quick. The two-room suite was huge with two TVs (with a nice selection of cable channels), a sofa, kitchette and king bed. It was clean. There are numerous restaurants and convenience stores nearby, We had dinner at the hotel and the menu -- while limited -- was reasonably priced and the catfish and chips was good. Ryan, the bartender, was friendly, helpful and hard working. This is a big hotel and I suspect if they were building it again that would install a smaller waterfall in the lobby area. That thing put out some noise. There was a little room noise, but not bad. Our breakfast was included the price. It was fine, but probably not worth the $11 they normally charge. A lot of places include a similar breakfast in the room price. All in all, a nice stay, friendly staff, clean and, at $119 a night, priced right. If we ever return to Beaumont we would not hesitate to stay here again,
Amazing service and super clean rooms and staff

We had our huge wedding at Holiday Inn and had over 15 rooms booked. The room was super clean, the breakfast was exceptional and the customer service was beyond great. All of this was possible because of Tessa! I dealt with her for this whole process and she made my 300+ guests wedding beyond perfect! Overall, my wedding was a success and Tessa played a big part in that. Be it Catering Vendor, event decorator, DJ, and many other vendors, they all said that we would love to deal with Tessa again because of her professionalism and the fact that she is the sweetest person to deal with. Moreover, I heard many great things from all the guests who attended that night. During the night many people came up to compliment us on how smoothly the event was running and how successful it seemed. All credit goes to you. Evaluations from guests also included positive comments. I wanted to share one of them with you: “It was great! I love the setup and all the Holiday Inn workers were on top of everything. They were very helpful & knowledgeable.” I am looking forward to hosting all my personal & business events with Holiday Inn soon! Holiday Inn staff and managers should be very lucky to have you working for them!
Unprofessional! Loud! No air

I’m beyond disappointed! We have several essential workers here for Covid an had been here since January! Every other week it’s something but what they never fell to do is pull funds every Friday! We have been without air for three days ! As if ventilation it’s needed when Covid it very much present, no mask is enforced, not even with the workers, Housekeeper come in your rooom without removing then and every weekend it’s LOUD, Kids running and staff looking! You would since it’s no air the hotel would give fans or discounts but nope not either, you have to pay for a fan!!! When you pays 600plus without AC! If it wasn’t a hassle to leave here we all would be GONE! The manager never return calls! The front desk staff is a hit or miss of who you may get that will try an help either wise it’s lies! This has been the worst an all they do it make excuses!

So first of all I will start with the good. Pulling and walking in you would think this was the best of the best. Outside and lobby was amazing and looked very nice. It even had a bar with a basketball game playing and all. The front desk supervisor was super nice and helpful. Then it went downhill from there. I will give her credit, she did say the air conditioning was out but was being fixed and would be fixed in a couple of hours. It never ever was fixed and was hot as crap all night. I never even seen one person working on anything either. No maintenance and no a/c companies on site. The entire hotel was out and people were pissed. It was all rooms. I woke up drenched in sweat at 3 in the morning and it was 76 in the room. Pull out bed for the kids was so small our young teens barely fit on it and it was horribly uncomfortable. The couch had the grossest stains I have ever seen. Main bed was super uncomfortable and anytime you moved it would sound like it was about to fall apart. Stains on walls, curtains and other places. So we made it through the night and was getting ready the next morning. Still no a/c but we did have a nice family of cockroachs visit us as we was getting ready. Overall this was a horrible place to stay. Take the time and go on up to Beaumont in town and stay. Don't stay here unless you have to. We travel all over the world and have not seen much worse. I guess we expected more from a holiday Inn. So the only good thing was the nice lady at the desk. Gross place and a waste of my money.
I would pass if you want a quiet place to sleep

Our first visit to this hotel. We are doing tournament baseball on the weekends. I wanted to try a different hotel to stay at. On arrival ((9pm) hotel looks nice and I was very happy with my decision to try a new place. While checking in (it was so loud) at least 40 kids running around screaming, playing chase. Obviously another baseball team was staying there too. The hotel is atrium-style with a little bar area, some lobby seating and a breakfast/flex space. The design of the building allows sound to funnel up toward guest rooms and our door to suite 620 wasn't weather-stripped or sealed well, so we heard so much noise, especially from all the people in the lobby downstairs. There was a party going on next door. They were playing loud music, yelling at each other. We had two tired boys ready to go to bed. I went down to ask if the neighbor could be called to turn down the music. Went back to room. Music got louder. We could smell weed. My daughter went down to ask for us to move rooms. We got a new room. Moved to 1st floor. Only for the lobby to be so loud with kids and music playing until after 12pm. Luckily the boys could sleep on the inside room with a fan noise on phone to drown out the noise with the inner door shut. I slept on the fold out couch. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Noise and light coming in around the door because there is no stripping on it. Our room was next to the employee service area, where the cleaning crew collected carts and supplies and greeted one another, so we had the noise of that to contend with..... All night long. The bedroom area was quiet as long as the door to the outer room was shut. The room has an attractive appearance. Laminate floors. Both rooms had flat screen tv, little kitchenette with fridge and microwave, and coffee maker. There was a desk, a couple of ottomans and a chair. If it wasn't for the noise, it would have been a nice place to stay. I wish I would have tried harder to find another hotel to go to. Lesson learned. Next time! I am so disappointed. I actually prefer one of the low budget Beaumont hotels compared to this one. Next weekend we are already booked. I know from experience we will have a quiet place to sleep in comfort. A few suggestions to management if you have a lot complaints: 1. Put plexiglass over the railing to help drown the noise for your guest. I can't imagine that hotel is ever quiet for people actually trying to sleep. 2. The sofa-sleeper mattress is terrible. Need to get better quality, and better blankets to use. 3. There were no hooks or rods on which to hang towels in the bathroom. 4. Management should not allow kids to run around the hotel like crazy people playing chase and being destructive. We complained several times. Hoping they would cut it off so we could get some sleep. They said they would try, but hello!!! Your the boss. Get control of your business. Make parents be accountable for their kids. I'm sure the video if you have one from the night of March 6, 2021 would be a great training tool of what not to do in a professional business. It looked like an out of control day care.
