Little bit of a walk from the train station. Be very attentive/mindful of the after hours game rules. They are doable but be prepared. You need to call a french number, get a code to open the main door and then another code to open a "safe" with your keys/envelope in it. Elevator, room is clean and basic, comes with a fan which is a nice touch when it is warm, very comfortable bed, friendly staff and good breakfast.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Reviewed 3 august, 2018
Yes I have a serious complaint to make. The first one is the most important. On arrival we paid in cash as we did not wish the cost to go onto the credit card as it is more expensive on exchange from British Pounds to Euro. The receptionist on duty on the 3rd August at 20.30 pm insisted on taking my card, even though it was o. the booking system and promptly took copies of the front and back...INCLUDING MY CSC NUMBER AND SIGNATURE. This with a copy of my passport. This is a serious breach of security of my card but she would not give it back on my insistance. I have now tk contact my bank and cancel this card as the information was left behind the security desk...etc. We asked why this was the case and she replied its my job to do so. Today I asked to see the Hotel Manager...he is on a month's holiday. Asked who was in charge in his absence...Head Receptionist..only works Monday to Friday...so who is in charge I ask, and this very young boy says me. So, I say if there is a disaster, who do you call? Wave of his arms. I also asked why a pgotocopy of just my passport and not my partner's was told because I was not French. Now I have been given a card with an email address email@example.com. The second complaint was the air conditioning which barely worked even when we enquired how to cool the room. Twiddle to knobs at the top of the unit. Well that made a load of difference. I hope you do take this seriously and I will be taking it further once I am home. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
Good hotel, poor location

The hotel was modern, rooms large with comfortable bed. There was a kitchenette provided with fridge but the fridge didn't work. However this didn't affect our stay. The hot water took a long time to warm up but we were in no rush. Easy check in and out. A good hotel overall but in a really poor location. There is nothing close by within walking distance. Good if you are staying as an overnight stop or on business but you need a car. There is gated onsite parking provided.
Nice hotel with secure parking

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is close to the river. We just needed somewhere to sleep as we were visiting family. Nice big comfy beds. Secure parking. Quiet. Im not a fan of the Pillows though. Staff are friendly and mostly their English has been good. Last visit there was some old food left in the fridge but other than that it delivers a good night sleep. Small bar area which looks nice as does the restaurant. I think it’s more a business type hotel.
More Hostel than Aparthotel

The apartment was very basically furnished although clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the linen very good. We had a 'Junior Apartment' with a bedroom divided from the lounge by a half wall partition. There were no comfortable lounge chairs but a single bed in the lounge. The cooking facilities were a two ringed hob, one saucepan and one frying pan. No kettle! Water for tea/coffee was obtained by heating water in the microwave mounted above the cooker so high as to be a danger especially to anyone under 6 feet. The bathroom was adequate with hot water tank mounted above the toilet requiring you to duck below it to use the facility. Although the WiFi is free it is also often absent. It is very slow and goes off line regularly. If WiFi is important to you be warned. The location is good with easy access to the train station (5 Mins walk) with the C tram stop and bus station at Gare st Jean. The number 1+ bus from the airport stops outside. There are a number of good reasonably priced restaurants near the station. In the other direction (15 min Walk) Victoire with many international restaurants. The location is good but I would opt next time to pay a bit extra for a proper hotel room.
