We were traveling with our dog and were happy to find a place that would accommodate our 60 pound Goldendoodle. The only problem was that the narrow grassy strip, billed as a pet area, was littered with dog feces. The gras was long and needed mowing and I stepped in a pile the first time we used it.I didn't want to use it at night because it was not lighted so I resorted to walking the dog in the parking lot. I wasn't really comfortable with the night walks because it appeared that homeless people were camping out in their cars overnight in the lot. I am well aware that it is the pet owner's responsibility to pick up the poop and I pick our dog's up every time. At some point, if other guests are not cleaning up after their dogs, it is the responsibility of management to do something about it. Other than the pet situation, the room was good and clean and the people were friendly.

Stayed one night to be closer to the office and was very underwhelmed by the accommodations. Interior was old and outdated with yellowing walls. Room did not have amenities (that I could find) that I have come to expect from a hotel including no coffee maker and no hair dryer. Someone on staff also let themselves in my room in the evening, not knowing the room was occupied, which made me uncomfortable about the security of the room as well. I would have likely changed hotels if it was for more than one night - this is not sufficient for an extended stay.

Though the start of the stay was good, the following issues and the slow or outright failure to solve the issues ruined the experience. First the suite had no trash cans of any type, and it took 24 hours for them to supply one. Second. the toilet became clogged at one point, and though it was around 3 AM, and I was able to report the incident, no attempt was made to fix it that night. (I will mention that the attendant had promised someone would be out as soon as possible.) The next morning I again called to ask when the situation would be resolved, and the attendant on duty didn't even know there was an issue. A failure to communicate among their staff. Third, the sink had no stopper, so even though I was given dish soap to wash dishes, I couldn't effectively wash them. Finally, there was no housekeeping service during the entire week I was there. No fresh towels, or attempts to clean the room. (if a broom or anything had been provided I might have been inclined to think I was responsible for cleaning it, but none was.) Overall the stay was marred by a lack of follow-through on the staffs part. They didn't seem to understand that they were a customer service business. That means serving the customer. My suggestion is further training for all of the attendants and an overhaul of their procedures and policies.

The staff checked me into the dirtiest room I have ever been in. It was clearly not cleaned, let alone sanitized for COVID The next day, they committed to correcting the error and when i returned from a long day/night the room was NOT cleaned and they refused to clean it. Admittedly, i was upset and not my finer self, so they actually evicted me for complaining and wouldn't allow access to my room to collect my belongings. It was necessary for me to get the Kent police department involved, to do a civil standby. The result of these troubles, is that I lost a very good job I was trying to get to in San Diego. It was going to be 50 thousand a year and great security for me while aging. For some time, I was not been able to understand where things went so wrong, until I remembered that I was wearing a Black Live Matter hat when I checked in AND. A friend that was helping me with luggage is black. The only thing I can attribute this bizarre behavior to extreme targeted racism.
