Great location, service, views

I was on a weekend visit to BH and I loved staying at Mercure Lourdes hotel. It is an excellent facility in great area of the city, walking distance from cool restaurants and bars, in proximity to tourist attractions and with great service. Rooms from the top floors offer beautiful views of the city.

Outdated, loud, cheap (in a bad way)

I'll keep this short as it doesn't merit extra words. I reserved a Junior Suite. When I arrived it no longer existed. I was instead given a basic room. Not only was the room outdated -- think Brazil à la nineties -- but it was loud as a result of abutting the neighboring room's bathroom. We heard every toilet flush, shower, and anything that fell.on the floor above us. Adding insult to injury, the towels were thin and the room smelled of bleach. Go somewhere else. Suggestion: Radisson Blu or Holiday Inn.

Luis Claudio, the gentleman who works in the lobby, was an incredible host, assisting over 12 members of my family in town for our grandmother’s 100 birthday. His kind demeanor & helpfulness made our stay a dream. He coordinated transportation, helped with bags, and went above and beyond. Can’t wait to return!

Fast check in and out. Excellent concierge. Employees very dedicated. Facilities. When leaving the hotel, the man who carries bags had always a smiling face, even with tive persons's luggage. We Will never forget. Thank you!
