A nice Villa in a beautiful location. The service at the restaurant was good but some of the receptionists (a man in particular) were absolutely rude and unprofessional. The SPA was not so nice. The pull was cold (both the water and the room) and the mud pulls wereally dirty. Nice location though.
Sleepless night
We just got back after a sleepless night at this hotel. Our idea was to go for 3 night to relax and enjoy the thermal waters. When we got there the first thing we asked was to use the restroom.... as we had been driving for some time. The restroom looked like the ones on the highway at the gas station. Then they brought us to the room which could not have been smaller. And the 2' x 2' shower looked like we were staying in a 2 star hotel.... not a 4 star. And the room was freezing, but with help they got the heat to start working. Then we saw the mini pool with no Thermal water- just regular chlorinated tap water... Why they call it a "Terme" I don't know. Every other Terme we went to had a pool with Thermal waters. Up until this moment we were prepared to stay and make the most of it. We had a tasty, but unhealthy, dinner and were looking forward to some nice massages the next day. Then we went back to our room to retire for the night and someone had entered and turned off ALL of the heaters. It was 65 degrees and we were freezing. It turns out that to save money- when we were paying about $300 a night- they TURN OFF THE HEAT DURING THE NIGHT HOURS. At that moment we decided to drive all the way back to Milan the next day. All night we could not sleep for how cold it was and the "queen' size bed was nothing more than 2 mattresses stuck together which made a gap of 4 inches in between us where we would take turns on sleeping as we like to sleep hugged and in this case it was necessary for warmth. The good news was that they did not try to ask us to pay them for the cancelled nights and services... But we did have to pay $300 for accomodations that were worth $50.
Romantic weekend
Villa delle ortensie, un fantastico resort immerso nella natura. Silenzio, pace paesaggi suggestivi e arredamento classico fanno da cornice ad un luogo in cui tutto è all’insegna del benessere fisico e anche mentale. Perché se il tuo corpo sta bene la tua mente lo percepisce e si rilassa. Molte sono le cure e le accortezze per il benessere fisico, tra queste il thermarium, la palestra e diverse cure personali studiate ad hoc. Il tutto arricchito da un’alimentazione sana gustosa e genuina. Anche la cucina è ottima e mira al benessere, con una lista di allergeni e il conto calorie per agevolare la scelta di ogni pasto . Se state cercando un posto tranquillo, lontano dallo stress cittadino, se amate la natura e volete rimettervi in sesto dopo giorni intensi di lavoro e vita frenetica, Villa ortensie è il posto adatto. A Sant’Omobono avvolto dal paesaggio suggestivo della valle Imagna. Ottimo anche per un weekend romantico. Beauty farm 4 stelle che non ha nulla dai invidiare ai resort più conosciuti e con qualche accorgimento in più e cura al dettaglio può davvero spiccare il volo. Personale preparatissimo e cortese e una cura del cliente davvero invidiabile. Ottimo pure il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Dependance troppo piccola e lontana dalla reception. Piscina senza una sdraio o una sedia.tutte da rivedere le proposte del ristorante .hotel da ristrutturare interamente .struttura sopravvalutata troppe 4 stelle assegnate.guida Michelin?????
Completo relax
Che dire...? La Villa dell'800 parla da sola per incanto e fascino. Una struttura a 360° dove ho scoperto trattamenti curativi naturali e trattamenti rilassanti! Il personale è davvero carino e gentile. Al ristorante ho mangiato molto bene, servita e riverita!! Per qualche oretta pomeridiana nella SPA ho trovato quanto di più utile per coccolarmi, è carina la possibilità di provare anche il fango freddo termale, simpatica novità che li distingue dai soliti thermarium. Insomma esperienza davvero molto positiva. Soddisfattissima.
