This hotel has some amazingly friendly and cool staff and is located right in the center of Berna. The bears park, rose garden and famous clock tower are at walking distance. The rooms are clean and epoque style, everything is perfect. The parking is behind the hotel, they will give you a discount voucher. Do not park in front of the hotel on the “hotel” signs, it is generally completely forbiden in Berna, even if they seem the right place for parking.

Belle epoque hotel and restaurant is a piece of jewellery in the center of Bern. It is beautifully decorated in Belle Epoque style. The size of the room is superior to many other city hotels. It is perfectly placed to visit the center of the old city. We loved the concept of replacing the breakfast buffet by an individual service to maintain social distances and hygienic measures and probably avoiding food waste: the waiter served us at the terrace a selection of breads, croissants, cheese, jam, ham, eggs dishes, jus, tee or coffee. The hotel is very close to Einstains house and who knows if Einstein may have also enjoyed here a cup of coffee at the time! All in all we have loved the stay for our wedding anniversary. Very good price for high value and quality.

The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of central Berne. Staff were very helpful and room comfortable. The hotel is is now under new management, so some of the older reviews are most likely out of date. Our stay was seamless and cheap car park very short distance away and it is part paid by the hotel. If you have a car, you can park right out the front to unload your luggage before moving car to nearby car park.

We had a great stay during Christmas time. The hotel is very well located in central Bern. The rooms are cozily furnished and very clean. During our stay all service people were friendly, open and supportive! We would again.

You can’t fault this hotel for anything. The location is perfect, on the edge of all the touristy areas whilst not being in the middle of the busyness. There’s a bus stop right across the road if you don’t fancy walking everywhere, but Bern is a very easy town to walk around. It’s about a fifteen minute walk to the station (slightly longer if you’re lugging a suitcase) or the bus #12 goes there. The hotel gave us a public transport pass for our stay, not sure if that’s what everyone gets or if it was part of our specific booking, but it was handy. The rooms are mid size but with comfortable beds and a couple of comfortable chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view from the windows. We were in 21, on the second floor at the front. So a great view of the street below. The buffet breakfast was 19 francs, and was very fresh and tasty with decent selection (and proper espresso coffee). There’s a bar and small restaurant in the hotel, and it seems on a Friday night at least they have entertainment (a three piece band that we’re quite good).
