Our stay during ski season and Corona virus
Reviewed 8 january, 2022
After Christmas 2021 we stayed at the Chandler hotel. It was fun. Nice swimming pool. Decent buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located to ski at several different mountains. Staff and hotel guests wore masks and maintained safe distancing. The only warning is that local restaurants are overwhelmed because of lack of staff and some have very limited schedules due to lack of staff.
Nice hotel in Bethlehem, NH

We stayed at the Chandler hotel in Bethlehem, NH. It was a nice, up to date hotel with nice clean rooms and a pleasant and helpful staff. Mr Dwayne Bosses, who is the manager there was very caring and helpful. He gave us several tips on places to visit. All those places were beautiful and the fall foliage outstanding. We would have missed those places as they were not listed in the tourist reviews.
Unclean, terrible customer service

I stayed the chandler a few weeks ago. I was so excited to take a bath in the jetted bathtub. When I turned on the jets I was sprayed with huge chunks or black mold. I tried to call the front desk 6 times, no answer. I had to use all of the towels the clean myself off the best I could and attempted to clean the bathtub. I waited at the desk for more than 20 minutes before someone came. She stated that it would take her 30 minutes to get me more towels. Longer if I needed the bathtub cleaned. It was 930 at night and I had no other way to shower. No one cleaned or attempted to make the situation better, comp, clean, or switch my room etc. Its been over two weeks. They still have yet to reach out. It was absolutely disgusting.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

This property is a study in contrasts. On the one hand the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. On the other hand, our room was stocked with just one wash cloth and no facial tissue. The lobby was very nice and they had some nice outdoor areas, but they did not have an automatic door to help you bring a luggage cart through it. The breakfast was very basic, and our room came with a small fridge but no microwave. The staff was very helpful, but the shower came with a partition that only went 1/2 of the way across. As to lights and electronics, they have all these modern lights, but none directly on your face at the bathroom sink, nor on the desk for using a laptop. There are no outlets at the desk, nor are there any USB outlets in the room. The other factor everyone should know about staying in Bethlehem during the week, there are very few restaurants right in Bethlehem. We ended up getting a pizza from the local general store.

Was horrible hotel. Dirty pool area, loud in hallways at night with kids running all over. Room was a suite but would never have guessed it. Never again I was very disappointed as I wanted to like this spot. I’ll be staying elsewhere going forward.
