This hotel was booked by myself for my husband, so he would have a place to stay close to the hospital while I had surgery. Night of surgery, he tried to check in but was told he MUST use the app even though he had a print out of the confirmation. The app would not work, and they would not help him figure it out or check in manually. Front desk person just repeatedly said," you have to use the app". A young mother with 3 little ones was having the same issue, and the desk person wouldn't help her figure it out either. Then my husband was on hold for over half an hour to the 800 #, who also was no help. Not the type of stress needed when your spouse just had major surgery Why even have a front desk person if they don't help the customer?

To my surprise for some unknown reason had double booked my King Suite. Although the receptionist at the time was very helpful and kind - it did take approx. one and a half hours to rectify. I was then given a double room which is at a lower rate and not the room I originally paid for. I did not get a discount or refund for the difference in room prices. Just to add I also had to re-pack my things in the morning check out and wait until another room was available - I waited for over 4 hours to move to another room which was a King Suite. Not to mention I had just arrived off a 12 hour international flight the day before on the 28th October. The King Suite was "fine" however I accidentally spilt water on the floor and I went to wipe it up with a towel only to discover the floor was absolutely putrid. Please see attached picture of the towel, it looks as though the floor has not been cleaned for weeks. During a pandemic I would expect establishments to thoroughly clean their rooms in which this was not. I would have liked to have made a complaint at the front desk - however the desk was unattended for most of my 5 night stay.

Bait and Switch Scam

We recently stayed at this hotel and booked and paid for a specific room with a King size bed weeks before our stay. On the day of our stay received an email that my room was switched to a smaller room and bed. No mention of a refund or that it wasn’t room I booked. Messaged on app was switched back than switched to cheaper room again. When spoke to a customer service rep she said guest in room decided to extend stay, This was room I booked. How is that legal? Looking at reviews noticed others with similar experiences. Bait and Switch. Stayed at their property in AZ booked a one bedroom but was given a studio. Unethical and potentially illegal practices. A wonderful, singularly unique hotel experience!

This property is so good on so many levels: Price, location, decor, courteous and attentive staff, a great restaurant, that beautiful courtyard, and much more. Room. was clean and tastefully decorated. Highly recommended for anyone who is traveling to Los Angeles.

R and R for a quarantine weekend!

What an amazing hotel. Truly special and right in Beverly Hills. The location is so quiet and yet you are a 10 minute walk from Rodeo drive. The room was charming, the bed amazing and the white crisp linens made me feel like I was staying at a Four Seasons. The continental breakfast was served in the charming outdoor courtyard (with pandemic accommodations). The coffee was excellent and you had a choice of simple small pre packaged pastries, tea and fruits. David the manager helped me with an issue with my tv and eventually because we couldn’t fix the problem he moved me to a beautiful 2 room suite for the inconvenience.... customer service at its FINEST! I will definitely be staying here again, albeit I live right around the corner, the reality is we all need a little paradise and this is definitely it !! Finally I was going to book on which is my go to after I’ve reviewed everything on TripAdvisor... but the hotel’s own webpage was actually cheaper.... parking was only $15 which by comparison was excellent as most of the hotels were charging over $25 per night. Treat yourself to a lovely night or 2 to recharge, we all need it 😊
