They've done an awesome job in redeveloping this old hotel with all the latest comforts and conveniences while keeping the original feel. Reminds me a lot of the way the Tremont Hotel in Galveston was brought to life. Lots of original decor in the lobby with awesome amenities in the rooms. The 3rd floor has been kept more original in its lay out I understand but we stayed on the 13th floor which had a great view.

What a fabulous hotel! We had a wonderful time - the 13th floor room was spectacular, comfortable and roomy. The renovation was first class! The restaurant served a variety of delicious meals, and the New Year's Eve dinner was wonderful. What a beautiful backdrop for a party! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband stayed here years ago and wanted to stay again on our trip. My experience with historic hotels has not been so great so I was skeptical. But boy, was I surprised and delighted. The place is beautiful, immaculate, a bargain and in the middle of West Texas. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was beautifully furnished, big absorbent towels, even good food! We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and couldn’t finish it all. I wish I lived closer… it would be a great place for a romantic getaway or a girls weekend with a spa, pool and hot tub.

We stayed at Hotel Settles two separate times on our trip across Texas in December. We are return customers because of the overall quality of the experience. The hotel itself is a beautiful facility, the rooms are always clean, and the staff is very friendly. The location is in a quiet area away from the noise of I-20. We were locked out of our room on our first stay due to a failure of the door lock mechanism. Once the door was unlocked they helped us move our luggage to a larger room and comped us to our dinner entrees that evening. We arrived at check-in time for our second stay and our room wasn't ready. It wasn't a big deal for us to sit in the beautiful, decorated lobby, but after about 15 minutes we were assigned a different, identical room and given a ticket for a complimentary breakfast. In both instances Dalton was very apologetic and helpful in getting the issues quickly resolved. The Pharmacy Bar & Parlor and Settles Grill offer the same menu which includes a variety of items that are prepared in the same kitchen; it's just different environments in which to eat. The food and service added to our great experience. A great facility, nice rooms, good food, and friendly staff. We will definitely stay at Hotel Settles on our next trip.

An icon for West Texas. Truly a 5 Star hotel. Food is great as well. Best pool in West Texas. Glad to see the rebuilding of the Hotel. I knew it as a vacant ghost hotel growing up in Big Spring. I assure you, there are no ghosts.
