Very friendly staff all looked like they were enjoying there job with smiles on there faces very helpful.bedroom excellent size loads of towels very clean and tidy ,very good choice of food at breakfast and evening meals.Don’t let the exterior put you off.Lots of places to visit nearby.

To think my hard earned cash was spent here, it's the dirtiest, filthiest, most disgraceful excuse for a Birmingham hotel I have ever set foot in. You have to be desperate to stay here. The place does stink of weed, enough to make you feel physically sick to the stomach. Used needles, drug misuse and rude staff and guests, all the ingredients for a review that tells incoming guests to book elsewhere, and what's the hotels response. Its like a record on repeat..... I'm sorry you were disappointed in our hotel, its only with guest feedback that we are able to make improvements. So when exactly are you going to refurbish and clean this poor excuse for a Birmingham hotel? Look forward to your response.

Stayed for 1 night (thank god) Did not look anything like the photos. Was cold/dirty and damp, there was even mould on the windows. Would not recommend. There’s not much more to write I believe I’ve made my point pretty clear. AVOID

Lovely to be able to stay here again, and as always the staff all give a great welcome. from manager to housekeeping. Noticed straightaway the high level of safety that has been put in place to protect the guest and the staff. It really hard in the hospitality business to put barriers between people but Britannia has done this in such a way you don't find it awful. Well done to Britannia keeping the staff going, and thank you to all the staff for keeping the guests safe and still smiling throughout each and every difficult shift.

I had booked 2 separate nights some time ago, non refundable, as I was flying from Birmingham, when my holiday was cancelled I telephoned and was told all payments, including non refundable were being refunded. I recieved my refund without any problems. Although i never stayed in the hotel, all the staff i spoke to by telephone were polite helpful and friendly. Thank you.
