Clean, big room with 2 bathtubs!

Very clean and big room w/reasonable rate. Super nice guy at reception. Highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback when traveling with dogs is that there isn’t a grassy area for dogs to go potty. There’s a strip of dirt w/roses bordering the parking lot so our dogs ended up peeing in the dirt and then we took them to a nearby park to run.
Old building, little breakfast, cold staff

Due to its old structure, upstairs room guest walking caused noise to downstairs room guest. Parking is cramped. For $170 a night on 10/1/2021, breakfast was mostly cold and cheap stuff: cold pastry, sugar coated cereal, except hot water. Wish they had at least some warm food with protein like eggs or potatoes for breakfast like most chains now provide. From visa card alert, found out the check in desk staff over-charged my credit card which required another trip next day to correct it. Consider this place a low ROI lodging.
Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!!!!

Worst place to stay! We drove from San Diego to Reno and decided to stop at Bishop for the night to rest, we got there around 1:30 am. and this place was the only one with availability, they said they only had one room left, all we wanted was to take a shower and rest for a few hours so we booked it, I didn’t expect it to be luxurious but you would think that for $194 a night you would be able to at least do that. Big Mistake! The room was horrible, the floor was grimy, the air conditioning was so loud, the sheets on one of the beds had a pee stain and on the other one I found bed bugs, worst experience ever. Stay away if you can!
I just want a good night sleep

The counter person looked like a teenager with better things to do than check me in. Nothing friendly or greeting in her persona. The room is very large and spacey. Seems/feels like it's missing some furniture. Not complaining. Just observing. Beds are the worst, hard. Temperatures are hitting in the 40's in the evening. Very sparse bed coverings. One blanket. I guess we can turn on the heater, but prefer to sleep warm and snug under the blanket with crisp air. Other grips, no bathtub stopper, my gf could'nt take a bath. No TV guide. These TVs these days have 200+ channels. I also had problems with booking direct, badgered into joining their rewards program and did not honor the rate i was originally quoted. Im canning Days Inn and the Wyndham family of hotels.

definitely can tell this inn/motel/hotel had been recently renovated and it shows. New flooring, updated bathrooms. Basic amenities (dish tv/fridge/microwave) and decent-sized tv. AC wasn't too loud. Outside noise was minimal. Beds were 7/10 (i'm picky with the firm/plush level of beds. Still comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend if you're on a budget.
