Second stay 😊

Reviewed 25 november, 2021

I stayed here for the second time last weekend with my family and we wouldn't entertain staying anywhere else when we visit Blackpool. Janet is such a lovely lady that will go out of her way to accommodate any need, which made bringing my 2 yr old for the first time so much easier than I thought! We stayed in the family room and there was plenty of room for us 5. The room was lovely and clean and we had fresh towels daily. The breakfast is amazing and there is plenty on offer. We also all love the dog Zeus, my husband and kids are still talking about him! We can't wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great B&B

Reviewed 8 august, 2021

Great stay in this b&b , Friendly welcome , room had plenty of room and was spotlessly clean . Breakfast was lovely ( and plenty of it ! ) Really well located , around a 10 minute walk into the town centre , and about 2 minutes to the tram stop ( which is the easiest way to travel once parked ) No complaints from us !

A great find

Reviewed 5 july, 2021

Everyone has a "horror hotel" story to tell, and on deciding almost last minute to book a weekend in Blackpool just there, we came across this hotel, and read the great reviews, but were still a bit aprehensive. Well, our worries were completely unfounded. As per most of the reviews, Janet was more than happy to offer assistance anytime, incluing helping us retrieve our cases from the car. The hotel was spotless. The bedroom was larger than most, immaculate, and the bathroom and shower area literally lemon fresh. In the breakfast area, families were seated well apart for anyone who has any such worries, and we were offered as much ceral and toast as we wanted, as well as a full (and I mean full) english fry up that hit the spot, with not a trace of grease anywhere. The Freeview channels also worked perfectly on our tv - a small thing, but something that we found is rare in Blackpool, and this pleased my husband no end! The wifi is also free, has a good signal strength, and more than fast enough for most peoples needs - again, a minor issue for some, but it's good to have. Don't worry if the apparent lack of parking spaces out front is putting you off either - simply drive up the incline to the end of the road, facing The Grand Hotel, and on the hill at either side of that hotel you should find ample spaces, 100 metres at most from the hotel. My husband and I will definitely consider staying here again on any future visit to Blackpool, and we would recommend the Arendale Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.
