Most amazing hosts ever!!
I have been coming here with my daughter for at least the last 6 years and what can I say?! Amazing hosts and the most reasonable price around. Rooms are well kept and comfy, best nights sleep I’ve had anywhere! Food... ok not available at the moment (understandable at this moment in time) but my gosh, even if you just have it once, I recommend TRY IT! Jacqui and Russel are exceptional, so welcoming and as me and my daughter say, “we’re home from home”. Can’t wait to see you again in October!!
New Years week
My partner and I stayed here for a week over New Years - great location, clean, lovely owners and although the room was small they have made good use of space and we had our own toilet and shower. Having a bar and pool table was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Blackpool and will happily stay at the Thistle Dhu again when we return.

Just came back from a lovely stay. Staff very welcoming,friendly and will go out their way for you,rooms are very clean and comfortable. great value for money. Best ive stayed in Blackpool Definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic place to say,Jackie is the best host you could ask for,she looks after you from arrival to leaving.Clean and comfortable, nothing too much trouble,we will definitely be returning!! Their sister pub the Jaqrussell run by jackies husband is equally worth a visit with the same welcome,thank you for a fantastic nights stay we wish we had booked 2 nights now.
Friednly staff, great location, thoroughly recommend
Me and a mate stayed there for one night and can thoroughly recommend. The interior is fairly basic but was very clean and Wendy was lovely and firendly. It's literally 2 minutes walk from the beach front. Cracking price too, will be back next year.
