Everything. Especially the staff - front desk staff Ms Paola, Mr Leonardo and Mr Andres were very helpful. Front Desk Manager Ms. Jineth was exceptional. Hotel has a beautiful restaurant - Cornelia. Excellent ambience and excellent break fast. Restaurant Manager Mr. Guillermo Castano was very friendly and the other restaurant staff (Chefs Mr. Isauro and Mr. Hector; Waiters: Mr. Edwin, Mr. Juan Camilo ; Waitress: Ms. Jacquelene, Ms.Laura and newly joined Ms Natalia)treated me like their own family member. I got an opportunity to meet HR manager Ms. Johanna Hincapie who was very friendly. Also so many other executives, especially the house keeping staff Ms Carolina and Ms Erika and who were very generous. Self stayed here from 26th November to 14th December 2022. IT System Manager. Andres Fernando was very helpful in sorting out any IT related issues.

My worst travel/hotel experience, ever.

The suites are beautifully appointed. The place is clean and very functional. It's in a good area for business and easy for moving around the North of Bogotá. I've stayed there a few times during the last 18 months, in different suites. Furnishings seem to vary. These suites could do with a proper working chair for the desks. The latest one I had, didn't have proper lighting for working at the desk. The place is spotless clean and cleaning personnel seem to be the most professional and efficient of the whole organisation. Service in general is average going on bad. There's a high personnel rotation at the restaurant and the reception desk. Service has been affected everywhere by the pandemic but this place is lagging behind in recovering from this. Every time I've visited, restaurant staff is new. They don't seem to know what to do, they are forgetful and seem to be learning about everything. I was left without breakfast last month (they forgot my order and by the time I complained, it was late and I had to leave). They run out of breads and things middle of the service (around 8.30-9, when service goes until 10am). Reception staff is not really friendly. There's also a high rotation there. The worst thing is what happened to me at the moment of extending my stay for an extra night. I got an email confirmation, I paid, and on top of that, the very morning I had a whatsapp conversation with hotel staff about my reservation for that night, and staying in the same suite. Upon leaving a meeting at 15:30hrs I find lots of calls and messages from my partner telling me the hotel says we have no reservation at all, staff treating her badly, insulting and saying things like "don't you know what checking out is?" and telling her we must vacate the room immediately because they need it. I had to cancel everything and go to the hotel to deal with the situation, and after a good hour they found that there was no communication between the person that manages sales and reservations and the front desk. Of course they did find my already paid reservation. They didn't even apologise or anything. They basically said that they had overbooked six rooms and were dealing with that. We were thrown out, we left for another hotel and are still waiting for our money back. I sleep at least 140-160 nights a year at hotels. And I have been doing so for a good 25 years. I had never, ever!, been thrown out of a hotel after spending a few nights there, and having already paid for the night to come. This of course goes further than bad service and dealing with disrespectful and insulting treatment. This is breach of contract and violation of terms of service, but this is something for which I have already contacted Colombian authorities. This is not a cheap place. For the amount of money they charge, one can find very good options in Bogotá and not risk having a bad experience due to lack of experience and professionalism.

Comfy bed in the King Studio

Very conveniently located and helpful staff. The king studio is spacious with a comfy bed and nice working area. But there’s no kettle in the kitchen (feels like it’s common in Colombia) but we could use a pot to boil the water. It would be good if some cleaning stuff like wipes/cloth, washing liquid is provided in the kitchen.

An excellent Hotel - Home Away from home

I have stayed nearly a month at this property. Whenever self travels to Colombia self always syays at Bluedoors hotels. This property and the staff were great. Right from front desk (Ms Andrea and Ms Jineth), and manager - Mr.Gabriel Cano, Restaurant Manager Mr. Guillermo Castano , all the hotel staff were so helpful. Always felt like home. This is an excellent and safe property if you are visiting alone or with your family. I have stayed at 93 Luxury suites (Bluedoors have 3 properties in Bogota) several times and York Luxury Suites (Medellin) and they have the same hospitality all over. I cannotvwait for my next visit. Thank you All.
