What this property has going for it is proximity to Logan Airport, Rental Car center and the fact it has a free shuttle running 24/7. It is located on a busy highway that essentially never sleeps so you can't get peace and quiet in any room. Also of course the noise from planes which is to be expected. Room was clean but a bit worn down, only one elevator working so longer wait times. Restaurant/bar is typical average food and menu for dinner at least, short handed it appeared so service somewhat slow typical for Covid times. Particularly if you are a Marriot rewards member and want the points, you might consider this hotel for its convenience but know that your room will not likely be quiet and the place is a bit shabby. Also during peak times like 7 AM the shuttle is likely to be full so get to the lobby early and get in line. Complimentary coffee in lobby also.

The rooms are large but a little tired. TV in the room wouldn’t turn off even after repairs. Gym is split into two rooms with basic equipment. Front desk is very nice but restaurant service is abysmal. We watched multiple people leave out of frustration after waiting 15 minutes without even a greeting. One elevator out of service. Biggest issue is the noise. Even on a high floor, the traffic from the nearby highway and low flying planes made it difficult to sleep. Parking is also difficult with multiple overflow lots. Excellent location near airport with courtesy shuttle. Bad experience though due to non response from staff to address problem during stay. Bathtub had standing water (yuck) due to slow drain which we called in and was told they would send someone up to fix. We waited and called a second time, no response. We were so tired from traveling all day and had an early start the next morning. Just waited for the water to drain until morning to shower. During checkout, I brought up the issue and the person was clueless and there was nothing noted on my account. All we got later was a” sorry we did not meet your expectations”. How disappointing! Certainly not what I expect from a Marriott property.

This hotel needs some serious maintenance attention. Carpets are dirty both in my room and in the common areas. Fixtures in the room are loose and broken. Windows dirty, trash on the floor, etc. I booked in reliance on the good name, reputation and high standards of the Marriott brand. I am ahold member and have stayed at Marriott hotels all over the world. But never at one like so wanting as this hotel.

Stayed here arriving and departing our time on the East Coast. Our last night in Boston had us eating here before our early morning flight back to SFO. Much to our pleasant surprise the dinner menus, while appropriately and somewhat limited, had selections to meet the need of any traveler. The clam chowder and lobster roll was as good or better than anything we had in Maine. The hamburger outdid anything we’ve had back home. If you’re fortunate enough to have Debbie as your server, your dining experience will have been complete!
