This hotel was top notch all around. Very clean, quiet. Rooms are huge ans we had a small kitchen. Parbatie who worked the breakfast had some of the best customer service I’ve seen In a while. I would hire her in a second for anything customer service related. The other ladies working the breakfast were great as well but I remember her. Wilfred and Anne were excellent as well checking in on our stay via text. Very easy walk to south station and all subways. Would stay here again.
Nice location in Seaport area

Renovated factory but has all the telltale Marriott features. Expensive for what you get. Parking is confusing. You need to get a pass FIRST from the hotel lobby before parking at the public lot right next door. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Coffee was horrible. Go to the Italian coffee shop in the same building. Ditch breakfast and go to Tatte, a short walk from the hotel.
Great hotel for anyone not needing sleep

The walls in this hotel are so paper thin that you can hear the person next to you brushing their teeth, coughing, sneezing, talking, having sex, etc. You will even know what kind of phone they have because you can hear the iphone "ding" sound when they plug it in to charge. Do not underestimate the other reviews complaining about this, as I did. I'm not a light sleeper but could not get much sleep at all over the course of my stay here. To add insult to injury, it seems like the hotel wasn't very busy for most of my stay but clusters guests close together/on the same floor instead of spreading people out to avoid noise. Can't really understand why they'd do this except for convenience of housekeeping? I raised the noise concerns to front desk staff who were apathetic at best. Overnight noise complaints seemed to be ignored. One time, I called the front desk around 1am as a neighbor in the other room talked loudly on speakerphone. They said they would send security up but the loud talker continued for another hour. I requested the manager, Rosie, call me back but she never did. I requested a late checkout since my 10 DAY STAY ended with a late evening flight but the latest they offered was 4pm. Don't expect your Marriott status to get you much here. As gold elite, I was not offered any upgrade nor even acknowledge at check-in. This property has great potential, given the prime location and charm of the historic building, central courtyard, etc. However, they need to find a solution to noise dampening to make it habitable.
Parbartie the standout

We knew we would like the property from glowing reviews my sister gave from her previous visits. The guest rooms were new and spacious, and we enjoyed being on the sixth floor (top floor) which allowed us to hear rain hitting the roof above us - that lulled us gently to sleep. Our standout team member interaction was in the morning at breakfast with the lovely, energetic Parbartie. She made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast, and when she realized we didn’t eat pork, she immediately offered a solution for the next day for us (we told her we had plenty of options for that morning). With so many great hotel options in Boston, Parbartie would be a key reason for us to go back to this property as she made us feel like we were with family.
Great hotel, quiet and spacious

The hotel was decorated nicely and the suite was clean and large. Great for a family with teens who like to have their own space for sleeping and watching TV. Very comfortable and quiet, on the outskirts of the busiest parts of the city. We parked in a garage just across the street, very easy to get in and out to travel around to our various destinations. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone who wants a little more space and doesn’t mind being a little outside of the busier tourist areas.
