The hotel is great although they were under-staffed during our stay. Having said that the staff on duty did a great job and the service was really good. The hotel is clean and the food was fantastic value for money. Very friendly place in a good location. Planning our next short stay in the spring.
Welcoming hotel, clean and tidy

Good size room, clean and fresh. Good food for the price with friendly staff. Room did seem a little tired and would benefit from a revamp but overall we both enjoyed the stay. The barman on the evening of our stay was very helpful
Country Golf Club allied to Hotel

Stayed B&B 3 nights 31/10 to 3/11 in Executive King Room 16. This is a country golf club which doubles up as a country hotel, so the public facilities are archetypal golf club ie spacious reception, bar, restaurant, lounge, and conference rooms. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable king bed, 42 inch TV, Segafredo Coffee machine, and modern ensuite. The bar was well stocked, with a Cask Ale, Sharps Cider, Lager, and IPA, and 3 other draughts. Pint prices around £4 to £4.50. It was quiet when we stayed, so breakfast was buffet cold items plus hot choices cooked to order. Good choices on the evening meal menu, reasonably priced, generous portions well cooked and presented. Garstang town centre is a pleasant 15 minutes walk. Exit the reception, go straight ahead to the corner of the car park, and follow the country lane over the Lancaster Canal. There are several pleasant country walks along the River Wyre and the Canal. It had been biblical rain the evening we arrived, so walking boots were required. The myhotelbreak advance purchase B&B rate was unbelievably good value for a hotel of this quality. No hesitation in recommending.
Great location. Large rooms.

Good value for money and convenient for the A6 and motorway. Overall, the hotel is good but some of the rooms are looking a bit dated and shabby. The bar and restaurant need a facelift, they are totally soulless and not inviting at all.
