Bramston Beach Motel

We stayed here as part of a group for New Years. The entire motel was run down. The pool was disgusting, unusable which was a real disappointment for the kids.. as in it was lined with black sludge, I’ve never seen anything like it. The management were so slack. They overbooked and when we arrived the man acted as though he was unaware of our booking. He offered us an AirBNB duplex next door. A lady came to ‘clean’ it before we checked in. It was disgusting, filthy dirty. We were told at our original agreement that we would be getting a self contained unit but it wasn’t. Lucky we have family close by (half hour drive) and I drove there to get some basic essentials and cleaning gear and sheets as the ones on the bed were covered in dust. They charged nearly $600 for three nights. We only stayed two as we all came down with gastro the first night, most probably from the disgusting condition of the room. Absolute rip off. I’m not sure if it’s under the same management now but I would suggest checking it out before booking here as it would have the potential to completely ruin your holiday! Aside from this the location is beautiful. Bramston Beach itself is a lovely relaxing little seaside getaway. Not many dining options but the cafe down the road makes tasty food and drinks.

Found rooms to be rundown and poorly kept. The cost at $120 for two people was expensive. We were checking in late in the dark or would have left and found other accommodation. Was told that they are working to do motel up. I would suggest a room inspection before committing to ensure the improvements have been made. Very disappointing.

The venue was great, but no where close to eat and the motel is in much need of some TLC, it won't take much, just needs some time put into it, so if you don't want to take your own food you only have the small cafe which isn't too far to walk I guess

Stayed her a coupe of nights. The motel is ideally situated near the beach, separated from the beach by an immaculately maintained park with lawns and stately melaleucas. The host is most generous and promotes a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for unwinding!

We hired a campervan in January. It was baking hot. We stumbled across Bramston and this delightful motel. What a welcome rest bite from the hot and humid Jan weather. Lovely room with much needed air con and was well equipped. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The pool was to die for and nicely fenced off in case of the odd Croc! The motel was only a stones throw from the beach. Had an evening meal there too, which was lovely. We wished we could have stayed longer.
